This is a great place for breakfast. But dinner is not it. Was brought a hanburger steak that was raw in the middle tonight. Wasn't impressed.

UPDATE... Guess this place has gone to hell for breakfast as well.. was told 20 minutes wait for food that was not a problem. Then I sat for 10 minutes waiting for tea and water. As well hostess always sits me in heavily trafficked areas. I've told her every time I do not want to sit in this kind of area. I have anxiety. she still keeps doing it. To boot my credit card was charged $60 something bucks for a patty melt with fries from lunch during rhe week. Obviously can't trust them either. I have never had my card mischarged at any other restraunt. Money was returned but now today's issues again... Not reccomending Brigitte's anymore and most likely won't return. Fire the hostess she does not pay attention to regular customers.

5/12/2022 Update Gave the place another chance today after receiving the response to my last review and they failed. Let me explain. For breakfast I usually get the sausage omelet, hash browns, and instead of the small pancakes I get the big ones. The first time I did this I was charged .50 for the upgrade. The 2nd time I was told that there had been a mistake that I should of been charged 2.00 for the upgrade. Understanding mistakes happen I gladly paid the 2.00. Today I order the same thing. I pointed out I wanted the upgrade and that I was previously charged the 2.00 for the upgrade. When the waitress brought my meal, with the upgraded pancakes, She informed me the upgrade was 3.50. Nothing on the menu has risen in price so the upcharge was purely whimsical. There is not even consistency in pricing now. DON'T GO TO...

This is a terrible place for people of color. My boyfriend and I went into this location and tried to order breakfast. First off it was busy and had a long line that we stood in for over 20 minutes. When we got to the counter another man came up with his ticket on the other side of the line… I am guessing that he ate and wanted to pay for his food quickly however we were next in line… and the man pointed they were next and the cashier worker took his ticket and said out loud… I'm going to take care of you first!!!

I hate to bring color in this situation because I'm a professional… but clearly this person did not care. We were black in a restaurant full of whites and they were clearly more important than we were judging from the way this unprofessional employee treated us. She didn’t care that we were black and waited in line for over 20 minutes.

I will NEVER buy food at this racist restaurant establishment and I will tell everyone in the Saint Cloud community and surrounding area not to go here either!!!! TERRIBLE THE WAY THEY TREAT PEOPLE OF COLOR.

Let me also say this. I am a professional and I owned my home in Saint Cloud for 5 years, I also own and 2 cabins in the rural north suburbs and I have never been treated so poorly, how ignorant and shameful to have such a person working at your establishment. Something has to change and customer service is a MUST as Her behavior was rude and I unprofessional and I will go to the Minnesota department of human rights if I have to and make this situation known!!! Expect a few secret shoppers soon!!!!

She didn’t even realize she mistreated a North Dakota State College Alumni All Star Basketball Player. Shame on you...

Very clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. That said, the prices are incredibly high for the poor quality and small portions of food. I ordered the sirloin breakfast which contains a 6oz sirloin steak, 2 eggs and hash browns with 2 small pancakes (I added cheese to the hash browns for an additional $1) at a price of $16.49. The eggs were a perfect over easy, the hash browns, crispy although under seasoned with 2 slices of American cheese melted on top (expected and pretty good) pancakes were kind of rubbery not fluffy as you would expect. The steak... umm, well let's start off with the fact that it is most definitely not a sirloin steak. I ordered it med-rare but received what I would describe as a very well done piece of beef with no seasoning at all that was injected with water in an attempt to pass as med-rare, it failed. Ordered from the "kids menu" and was disappointed to receive 2 small pancakes and 2 sausage links for $3.99. I mentioned the price because I was given a 15% "senior discount" even though I'm over a decade short from qualifying for it and to be honest, it made me feel pretty bad. The staff seemed to be having a bad day as none of them appeared to want to be there that day. They could be heard complaining clearly in the dining area by everyone. Our waitress tried to keep it together but sadly failed, making us feel uncomfortable at times. Overall I think it will be awhile before we make a return attempt. No excuse really for those prices, a lot of similar places like Kay's Kitchen or Perkins don't inflate their prices so there is really no excuse for Bridget's to do this. You'll get more for your money at one of those...

Classic Diner!  We were there on a weekday morning.  Walking in, the first thing I noticed was the delicious pastries and couldn’t miss the touching memorial portrait of Bridgette hanging behind the counter.  The dining area had groups of locals enjoying their breakfast, giving us the sense that this spot is a beloved community hub where friends gather to catch up.  We were quickly sat and offered something to drink.  Service was excellent throughout our visit.  I ordered David’s Omelette, swapping sausage for the ham, and paired it with two pancakes and a side of hashbrowns. My wife opted for two eggs, sausage links, and pancakes. Our meals arrived quickly and were served hot. The omelette was delicious, packed with ingredients and just the right amount of cheese. The pancakes were light and perfectly complemented the eggs, without being overly fluffy. If you find yourself in the St. Cloud area around breakfast time, I highly recommend stopping by Bridgette’s Café. It’s a charming spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

My fiancé and I went to Brigitte's Café for the first time. We are both breakfast lovers and had to try it out. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (not on the menu, but was a special) and it was delicious. Hearty pieces of fresh ham and a delicious hollandaise. It came with perfectly crisp hash browns. My fiancé got the french toast, biscuits, and gravy, and a side of bacon. The gravy for the biscuits was very bland and almost tasted like flour, but he said he still enjoyed it. The french toast and bacon were average but tasty. The coffee was a little watery, but to be expected when given a carafe. The price point made this place worth it. A mom-and-pop breakfast spot with great service and tasty breakfast. We will be back, and we'll bring the kids next time :)

Excellent service. The hostess is smart. Instead of asking me how many (I was there alone), she asked just yourself? Brilliant. This cafe is a family-run small business. They know everyone's name here. Bri was my server (granddaughter of the founder). Neat, right? She was nice and helpful too. Checked on me a few times make sure I was okay. The food was pretty good for diner food. I'm not sure if they use real eggs, but it sure seemed like they did. My veggie omelet came with 2 small pancakes - which hit the spot for a rainy Saturday morning. Nice presentation on the food as well. I'll be back again.
