The burger I ordered was suppose to be med. rare and it came out well , the bun was soggy cause the cook didn’t rest it . Also got a burrito to go, now aren’t you suppose to eat a burrito with your hands? Why would you put cheese and sauce all over it ? Also it had no flavor at all dude “use salt !!! Then I opened it and there was old meat that was gray and some new meat! See pic! I really think they need a good cook there , and yes I know what I’m talking about I’m a chef ! Why would you mix old meat with new meat? Throw it out !!!! If you can’t cook a burger to the right temp then you shouldn’t be cooking .

We had dinner here this evening - this is a hoppin joint and ope, even though the season isn't fully started yet. I had the meatball sub/fries, she had the turkey club/fries. Both were good, in fact, the meatball sub was *very* good. Service is relaxed and felt like a lot of locals in the place enjoying a drink or food. There is a game room, bar area and sort of middle-room between - good assortment of food and lots of seating.

Order the chicken cheese steak! The chicken is sliced very thin and covered in gooey American cheese. I ordered it with bell peppers rather than banana peppers and added mustard. Delish. The server was very nice and accommodating. We sat outside on the patio. Small but solid beer and cider list.

Restaurant is a bit dark, but it's a tavern, so it's almost to be expected. Window sills were dirty next to where we sat. As far as food goes, mozzarella sticks are the cheapest freezer option money can buy. They are not good/have little flavor; they are the type you typically get at a fair. Pretzel with cheese sauce was okay, also most likely from the freezer and nothing special. Chicken wings were small and were cooked so long the inside lacked any and all moisture. Nachos were not worth the money, and were the most disappointing thing we had; if you're a fan of thin, salt-less tortilla chips and an entire pound of shredded cheese on top, these might be for you. They piled on the chips and cheese so much so that the cheese wasn't melted in the center, but was melted so much on the edges that the oils separated from the cheese and formed a pool of grease on the bottom of the plate. Paid an extra $5 for around 2 ounces of cubed chicken to be added. Other toppings were very sparse. Served with about 2 tablespoons of tostitos salsa. Service was great initially; the man that seated us was very friendly. Our server was less concerned with our table, only checking in after we had finished our meal. Getting the check was slow too, and we were only 1 of 3 parties in the entire place. We didn't express any of these things to the staff while there. We just hope that reviews like ours are seen and adjustments are made so that other patrons can either have great meals made with passion instead of cut corners here, or choose other businesses to try that are worth their hard earned money.

TLDR:

This restaurant serves food. It is edible. It is not something I would pay for again unless some drastic changes were made. Lacking in house made products that are worth paying the premium...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! We have eaten here more than once and we loved the place, we loved the food and we loved the laid back atmosphere…..However this will be the last time we ever eat there or recommend it to anyone!!!! Never in my life have I ever been insulted so much by a rude upstart human! We were enjoying our night and our meal only to have our waiter be very rude from almost the get go, then he got very short with us when we asked if we could split the check, he then proceeded to follow us into the car park and verbally abuse us telling us we are never to set foot back in the tavern as we did not leave him a tip!!!! Really! I always leave generous tips to those who have earnt them and you my little friend do not deserve a tip for your poor attitude and rude service! I suggest your management staff send you back to customer service school because never in my entire life, in all the eating establishments, in all the countries I have travelled, come across anyone who is as disrespectful and blatantly not suited to this area and work as you are. Go get an attitude adjustment before someone who is not as polite as me,...

Myself and three others made reservations for a Friday night. We’re from out of town and arrived about 5 minutes late. We arrived at the entrance and were greeted by absolutely nobody. There was a waitress talking to some customers about 10 feet away, in clear eye view of us standing there and still said nothing. The bartender inside was on the phone so we waited thinking he was busy so he would seat us when he finished.

It then became apparent that we weren’t being acknowledged. The bar tender and waitress both seen us standing there, looked at us and said absolutely nothing. We’re waiting about 5-10 minutes at this point. Customers were looking at us just stand there. We felt completely uncomfortable. The waitress is standing there having casual conversation (That’s how close they are that we can hear) watching while we look around for staff. NO STAFF AT ALL ADDRESSED US.

ABSOLUTELY NOBODY SAID ONE WORD TO US the entire time. We ended up walking away. I don’t recommend this restaurant to ANYBODY of color. Was it racial ? Just unprofessional? Doesn’t...
