Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Sugar Land

I like cold refreshing milk or herbal tea and or fruit drink every once and a while. Kung Fu tea is my first place to go to since they have wide selections of tea, fruit and jelly (bubble) toppings. They have recently added healthy choice of oolong jelly tea which is my new favorite. I love their matcha green tea with sesame seed which for me is a mix of healthy drink while being not too guilty over indulging myself. Though there are times when mix and taste are not consistent.. (I don't know it's kind of weird when at times it taste great and there are instances when it taste weird.) Plus sometimes the large size is full of ice (like half of it) that there is not much of a drink for me to savor cause it is all ice. Which reminds me that next time I order, I will have to specify not to put too much ice or perhaps tell them NO ice at all (reason why I put 4 stars only). But overall I will keep coming back to this place especially now that summer is right around the corner. Another plus is that if you want to order slush drink you can modify sweetness to your liking (50% or less) which is cool cause I don't like too sweet...

unfortunately for my first time at kung fu tea, my experience was ok. my drink was good, but the boba pearls were so hard. i work at a boba shop and tried many boba shops so i know it’s supposed to be a chewy and bouncy. however, it tasted like the boba was almost out from the container. so, i asked if i can get a different topping which was 25¢ more, because i didn’t want to asked if they could switch the container or if their boba was normally like that. i was charged the extra quarter which i didn’t mind. i was just taken aback, because that was the first time i got charged for asking for adjustments on a drink. it just seems like their focus is on profit rather than customer service. to be honest, i would not go back to this franchise...

I love it here! My girlfriend and I are obsessed with this location in particular. It is always very clean and the baristas pay close attention to detail as well as it’s so ASMR to see them work on the Teas. My favorite is of course, milk tea and chai milk tea with Oatmilk and double boba. The team here is always very nice and welcoming! Also I recommend downloading their app, it gives you free drinks when you reach each level. You can even order ahead and just pick up to go. Their music vibe in the store is really cool...
