I went through the drive-through like I normally do on Tuesday to get drinks and brownies to take to my taco Tuesdays with my son and family. I was third in line from the window to receive my food and they brought me my drinks and my brownies. Mind you I’m still in line with two cars in front of me so unable to leave. The first car gets its food and it leaves. The second car gets delivered a bag and it goes to leave and I follow behind because I already received my order, But the car in front of me stops right at the opening to leave. I am assuming that they’re checking their order, maybe they missed something. I wait but eventually the car doesn’t leave so I kinda hit my horn a little bit to let them know they need to go. The associate comes to my window and says ma’am they’re waiting on their order. You need to back up a little bit and go around her. So I’m like, are you serious? That’s where you put the person that hasn’t got their order yet, you stop them at the end of the building and you expect us to know that there waiting on there food. Then give me an attitude. How about you guys learn how to run a business and Have a designated spot out of the way when you can’t get the order out on time. Instead of blocking the flow of traffic, it was already bad enough that I got my food first before the other two cars and now I gotta sit there and wait for them to move so I can leave. Very bad business decision also. What makes you think we want our food early so we can sit behind cars that are in front of us and we can’t get out to leave and our families food gets cold and drinks get watered down from ice melting, while we wait for them to received their food so we can leave. Just to find out that the car in front of you is going to pull up 10 feet and then stop right in front of you again to wait on their food and I’m supposed to know this. That case, make it business decision to have somebody there to direct traffic to let you know you have to go around. Won’t be returning to that...
Read moreUpdate: After posting my review I scrolled a little down the other reviews and found 9 similar reviews. Sadly, I haven’t even finished scrolling down. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL OPEN LUIS AND CHRISTIAN’S EARS TO SUGGESTIONS. WE HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE RESTAURANT OR SERVICE. There is always room for improvement! :)
Giving suggestions to the manager is not allowed. Christian and Luis Hung up on me when I was suggesting to have the car in front pull forward. They kept insisting they are “pumping orders as fast as they can”. I did not mention their service being slow. I suggested next time having the car stuck waiting for their order move a little so people in the back who are done can move and drive away and continue on with our lives.
I may have come off as “too strong” but I guess they cannot understand simple words. Time is money. 5 minutes sure. 10 mins sure. But more than 15 minutes? That is 1/4 of an hourly pay. That could be a commute home. A quick shower. A meal prep. There is nothing wrong with SUGGESTING. Young boys being defensive not listening before arguing back. I even suggested praying for them, that their ears may be open and to stop arguing back and to stop hanging up 2x
Placed order 8:44pm Received order 8:56 pm Waited behind one car in front of us until 9:15pm. We were there for so long, the lady bringing orders to the cars thought we were still waiting for ours.
Reported to corporate as soon as Luis hung up on me. Waiting...
Read moreI must say my experience went from ugh to 5 stars in just a matter of minutes.. Manager Mr. James lll probably the most nicest person I’ve met in a very long time. The fact that he goes above and beyond is great. Usually the drive-through line moves pretty quickly except this one night, I literally set an a line for almost 45 minutes so I decided to call the store and the person that picked up was Mr. James explain to him that I was in line for 30 minutes and I still haven’t placed my order I asked if everything was OK he insured me that everything was fine just a little short staffed. I said no problem I was just checking. About 10 minutes later my phone ring and it was Mr. James asking me if I had placed my order yet and I proceeded to tell him no, so the manager asked me my name and told me dinner was on him and that he was truly sorry and he thanked me for not raising my voice or cussing at him because he seems to get that a lot from other customers so when I pulled up to the window he was at the window with my food hot and ready he apologized again I said no worries and no problems thank you so very much and So I paid it forward and paid for the car behind me. Was James seem like a very genuine nice person so thank you...
