It was a great experience, I paid for my moms first cooking class here. The chef and people there were playful and kind too, just the greedy man at the cashier. I don't know if this man at the cashier was an employee, or the manager. But the man at the cashier was RUDE as HELL. Long story: I went with my mom to the class, paid for her as a little gift but not for me (I, personally, don't like taking cooking classes). I left her at the kitchen station and walked around the store for about 20-30 minutes, went to check on her and listened to some of the stuff the Chef was saying... (important: did not sit next to my mom or anything, I was just standing there for about 5 minutes) Walked around the store again for 20 minutes, my mom called me so I could take some pictures of her cooking what they were cooking. While we were waiting for my mom to put her cooking piece in the oven, I sat on her seat for 1 minute. One minute, that's all. The man at the cashier rudely came over to my mom and I and told me I could not sit there because I did not pay. I told him that I know I did not pay, and I was just waiting for my mom to put her cooking piece in the oven and taking some pictures of her. He walked away, and I stayed there for a few more minutes. Once my mom's cooking piece was done, (which took 10 minutes) she gave it to me so I could eat some of it, even the nice chef told me to try some of my mothers food. I went to my mothers car to eat some of it, then came back. My mom was walking around the store and I went to talk with her, asked her if everything was alright. While I was talking with her and went back to the kitchen station with her, the rude, selfish, greedy man walked in front of us and started complaining how I was not supposed to be there and how my mother shouldn't have given me her OWN cooking piece. He asked us "Do you think this is right? The other people paid for themselves. So you should too." My mom and I immediately left, we could not be there because we both felt very uncomfortable after that. I REPEAT: I did not engage in any of the cooking activities, I did not write any notes, did not ask the chef questions, NOTHING. I was checking on my MOTHER. The chef even told my mom and I that I could eat my mothers cooking piece, even the CHEF. This is a WARNING to anyone who wants to go to the cooking class, the manager or whoever it was is very rude, selfish, greedy, and uncivil. I hope karma bites him back.
EDIT: So, I saw the owner's response. Hardly any of that is true. The only part he got correct was that I had my mom's pizza. So what if I had my mom's pizza? That was not any of your business. She didn't want it, and she made the pizza, not you. Plus, the chef even told us if she didn't want it then I could have it. We did NOT arrive late to the class, in fact, we arrived 5 minutes early. I was not standing behind her the entire class time, that is making me sound like a robot. I don't want to repeat myself, so look at my OG response. I understand the struggles of business, but that was not the right way to approach us. Saying "Shame on you!" to a teenager is also not cool and making me seem like...

I’m beyond frustrated with this sharpening service. I brought in my shears and blades expecting them to come back sharp and ready to use, but instead, I received them in worse condition than when I dropped them off. Not only did they not fix the dullness on everything, but they actually made everything worse! My shears are now completely ineffective and the blades are more dull than they were before.
I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and the chance to make things right, They didn't! I had one of the employees admit that it was their fault and that their equipment they used was not working right and dull. With an employee admitting to it, It’s clear that they’re using dull, outdated machinery to do the sharpening. I know from experience that using a dull machine on your tools can actually make things worse by damaging the edge and ineffective. That’s exactly what happened here. Instead of restoring the sharpness, they just ruined my equipment even further. I received no helpful response. It feels like they didn’t even bother to properly sharpen anything. It's honestly baffling how bad the quality was, considering the price I paid and how their supposed to be "professionals" They did refund me for part of the service, but refused to give me a full refund and refused to replace my equipment they ruined and wore down. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I now have to buy new equipment which is way more expensive.
Save your time and money. Find a reputable service that actually knows what they’re doing. This place is a complete...
Read moreI was in there two weeks ago when the proprietor was asked by a customer to please wear his face covering. He cheerfully complied. Yesterday I went in to try to return 10 packaged face shields he sold me that day, still unremoved from the store's bag. He refused to take them back because "there are many strict rules about everything related to covid. It's just not safe. I can't resell them." THIS WHILE HE WAS BEHIND THE COUNTER WITH NO FACE COVERING! The man appears to be the owner of the store or manager and the store is small and poorly ventilated. People cannot safely be in the narrow aisles together, and he refuses to wear a mask. I heard him complaining 2 weeks ago that it makes him sweat. Ok, I get that you can't give a refund on a certain item, but please don't say that while hypocritically refusing to follow the most basic rule of covering your nose and in your own store. Always liked supporting a locally owned brick-and-mortar! Never...
