We just left your Temecula location. We waited the 30 min wait time which wasn’t a problem. But when they sat us they sat us at a table of three with a highchair. So we corrected her kindly and said we requested a table of 4 adults and a highchair. The blond host then replied so you needed 5 adults. We said no 4 and a highchair. She replied “yeah five”. Then got another host, she had a dark long pony tail. She then comes in throws the leaf open on the table. Shoves past us to add a chair. And throws the menu on the table and storms off. My family and I have never complained at a restaurant or walked out before this. I’ve worked for the service industry so we are really understanding since we get the struggles of it. But this was so dramatic and made us incredibly uncomfortable. The hosts were so rude. We were all shocked even the table across from us looked shocked. I get it being a host can be stressful but I have never treated customers like that. A member of our party tried to say thank you and they completely ignored him and walked away. I think the shock of it all was how aggressive and dramatic the host was with the dark hair. They were both rude but that one was incredibly unkind. Again we’ve never walked out like that before but it was too uncomfortable to stay. The host said she was just busy she wasn’t mad but even when confronted she wasn’t nice. The manager apologized but didn’t seem to care. We definitely didn’t make a scene we just wanted to let the manager know how unnecessary that whole interaction was. Even if the host was busy neither of them should have been that rude. Saturdays are stressful but it never warrants acting that way towards customers. We probably won’t be returning again. We were looking forward to...
Read moreHard to imagine a more disappointing visit to a place my parents were very enthusiastic to dine for the first time. I won't complain about the hour long wait to be seated on a Friday night. I had already reviewed the menu. I had taken my parents out for dinner as a early Mother's Day treat. My parents shared the 20 oz. Outlaw Ribeye; I ordered the same thing for myself.
The server who brought out the food gave me the medium well ribeye that my parents had ordered. My parents were able to greatly enjoy my medium ribeye. My drink glass remained empty for a long while before a refill came. The bread as a complement to the salad never arrived. And my ribeye was blackened. I didn't complain until nearly done; I didn't ask for a refund. I just tried to inform the waitress that the server had mixed up the plates and even the ordered medium well ribeye was probably cooked to full well done. The cut was great; I'm just disappointed that the ribeye was burnt to a crisp.
When I asked for a takeout container from a different server who had responded to an uplifted hand, one didn't come until my waitress finally arrived with the check about ten minutes later. She had conferred with the manager to take ten percent off the bill. I asked whether the earlier promised bread could be brought to the table to take away as well; she obliged. I didn't sense a lack of staffing for the problems I experienced. There were upwards of five waiters/servers and the host in my section. Getting anyone's attention seemed unusually difficult. I left a fifteen percent tip, which seemed more than fair considering the service.
My parents enjoyed the food very much, which is the only reason why I've given Longhorns two stars instead...
Read moreI took my mother to this restaurant on Christmas Eve, and we arrived early to guarantee seating given the special day. At about 4:30-5:00 pm it was light, but soon after the booths and tables began to fill. They draw quite a hungry crowd, which was a good sign that the food might be just as good as the friendly service.
Our waitress, Morgan, was spot on as we asked questions about the different offerings on the menu. She was attentive, but not overbearing as she made sure that throughout our meal experience, we were completely satisfied.
My steak was so perfect I wanted to kiss the chef! I said wanted to, but hey that’s how happy I was. Mom ordered the Chop Beef, which is ground beef made into a steak form, covered in caramelized mushrooms and onions. It almost resembled a large Salisbury Steak, but not. She was in heaven. She and I both had the loaded baked potato. Scrumptious! Made perfectly—not overcooked, not undercooked. And not chimsy on the toppings either! Just right. The broccoli was also perfect on the side.
The bathrooms are clean. If you want to know how clean the kitchen is in a restaurant, check both the bathrooms and under your table. If both are clearly tended to with care and cleanliness in mind, odds are the entire place is. If the bathroom is filthy, run. Just run!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with or without children. Plenty of parking, including several handicapped parking spots up front. After nightfall the lot was well lit, making us feel safe. The atmosphere was comfortable, the decor cozy in a country way, and the food and service were so excellent that we will definitely return here again. Also, it is not too far from Pachanga Casino in case you’re...
