Everytime I'm at this McDonalds... EVERYTIME, I've had some sort of problem, especially with attitude. And not the employees, but management and shift leads. On several occasions, my wife had been completely disrespected and she called corporate. They didn't do much of course. I tried bringing my daughter there to play and eat, trying to ignore the past...but there is always an attitude, a problem, or just plain nastiness. This is disappointing because my daughter and I had a lunch routine everyday after school by going to play at McDonald's and she would play with the other kids while I could work on my computer. I not only have stopped going to this McDonalds...but the situations turned us off so much that we haven't visited ANY McDonald's since February 21st. Corporate doesn't care, the owners of the facility don't care, so I will never, and I do mean NEVER waste my money again. I'm serious when I say we were everyday customers. But I'm also serious when I say I won't spend money where it isn't appreciated. We found other options. This is sad because we like McDonald's food and we used to love what McDonald's claimed they represented. This McDonalds location ruined it for my family. And even after they were nasty to my wife...we gave them multiple chances...I do mean multiple chances to redeem themselves. I have boycotted the entire company because of this location. Those might be strong words...but as I said, I will not spend money at a place that does this consistently and gets away with it. I might be one person...but I have a big family and I'm making my stand. Shame on you...
Read moreI ordered 3 small hot chocolates for the kiddos and a large for myself so we could go Christmas light looking and warm our bellies. When we pulled up to the window after paying and not being able to hear my repeated order due to very loud children, I pointed out that the “large” didn’t look like a large and the gentleman informed me that the order indicated it was a medium. I then told the gentleman I ordered a large and wanted a large. Before I could say I would pay the difference he asked me to pull to the front and he would make a new one. We waited in the front for almost ten minutes as I could clearly see the gentleman inside through the window not making my drink, so I brought all three kids inside to ask for a large hot coco that I was told was being made 10 minutes earlier. What I would assume was a manager said she’d make me the drink, disappeared around a corner and then popped out with a drink in no time. I packed the kiddos up and off we went. Driving to our first destination of houses to look at I took my first sip of a large coffee with a hint of chocolate. Very disappointing. So either they messed up twice which I want to believe the job isn’t that hard and or they did it on purpose for my inconvenience on them for calling them out on a mistake. About 90% of the time this particular Mac is proficient in taking our order and correctly making it. So they are usually pretty good. The work crew is always inexperienced and clueless about what to do and also what to say to customers. Management seems like the only person who knows the simplest things YET makes no sense for things like paying with EBT/food stamps and drive thru time management.
Last time I was there, a few days ago, we said we had EBT to pay, so the cashier 1st window told us to drive to the 2nd window to pay. Then we told the cashier at the 2nd that we were told to go there to pay with our EBT card. Employee had no idea what EBT/FOod stamps were (as usual) and manager came to tell us that she couldn’t accept EBT at the moment. So then we offered to pay for our $30 order with a debit card or credit card.
She then told us we should’ve paid with that in the 1st window. And SHE TOLD US TO DRIVE BACK AROUND TO PAY AT THE 1st WINDOW. This was during rush hour and a very busy and long line on the drive thru.
What kind of common sense is that to not take our payment on the spot and just walk a few steps to her “1st window” to charge our card.... so we just said wow.. nvm & went to Jack N The Box, where the customer service is kind and friendly and not short of knowledge with EBT and common sense...
Never will we go here again to eat and never will I go here again to deliver their orders!
