I have not seen a more incompetent crew in my life!! It took about an hour of my group's time until we decided to get a refund. When we first arrived, there was literally nobody waiting in line to order or to receive their meal. The drive thru wasn't busy either. Our plan was to just order our food, take a restroom break, and then leave.. We ordered and waited for about 30 minutes when the place started getting packed with customers eager to wait for their order to get finished. A lady that came after us was smart enough to get her refund early. We tried to be understanding and wait a bit longer, but that wait was such a disappointment. My brother, who works at a McDonald's in a different location, was explaining to me and the rest of the customers what orders the crew was working on. He caught on that they had the flipping nerve to serve off our order when we didn't receive a gosh darn thing!!.. this meant that they claimed that they completed the order and was ready to move on to the next one. So we basically would have waited in line to never receive our meals. They only focused on the drive thru and barely had the time to fill in a UberEats order. The poor driver regretted picking up the order as he was also waiting over 20 minutes to receive his client's order. Every crew member looked like they were lost and didn't know what to do or probably didn't want to work. My aunt finally spoke up and asked to see their manager, which didnt get us any closer to receiving our food. After that, we waited for another car in the drive thru to get taken care of until we finally had enough and decided to demand a refund. This place is a joke and the franchise owner really needs to replace every single one of the workers that worked today. On a side note, the manager wore WAY too much make up to work at a restaurant with her fake eyelashes and caked on foundation. That is sooo unsanitary and unnecessary. She needs to pay less attention to her face and more attention to her management skills and her attitude. I recommend everybody to just stay away from this location unless you really want to kill a lot of time waiting on food that might never...
Read morePulled up to the drive thru and waited patiently, After a few minutes I was asked to wait so I did. Another car pulls up at the other terminal as I was waiting. Then I was asked to wait again because they were apparently short staffed. Next thing I noticed the car that pulled up after me had their order taken first and laughs were shared between the drive-thru employee and the customers in the other car. TBH I was a little distraught since I was waiting for a while before the other car pulled up, so when they finally started taking my order I said ‘hi I was actually here first before the other car’. That’s all I said straightforward with no attitude behind it. Instead of an apology the worker’s speech changed and sounded as if they were annoyed from that statement.
I decided to let it go and started to placing my order. Now, I never had an issue ordering a McFlurry as a drink for my meals, with the understanding that there would be an added charge which I didn’t mind, but this time they told me that I couldn’t do that. Ended up ordering a 2nd drink.
Finally got past the ordering screen and started waiting behind the car that came after me. Now the window employee is chatting it up with the driver and the other people in the car. One of the backseat passengers gets out and walks into the store. Not sure what transpired. They get back into the car after a couple of mins and then the 2nd employee working the drive-thru steps out and starts talking to the occupants of the car in front of me. Seems like they all knew each other. I start getting a little more annoyed because I’m on my lunch break and I was wasting my time waiting.
After 10-15mins of watching them have their conversation I decided to pull out and leave. I didn’t feel safe buying food from a franchise that has no discipline.
I understand a lot of places are shorthanded so I respected that when they mentioned it but if you are going to fool around because your friends decided to visit you at work while you are working, please do it on your free time.
Forgot to mention firstly that there were no cars in front of me when I pulled up to the drive-thru terminal....
