I was genuinely shocked by the pretentiousness and condescension exhibited. Having traveled extensively, I have never encountered such a dismissive and ignorant environment, especially in a place like Temecula, California.
Upon arrival, we were informed of a three-hour wait, only to be texted 24 minutes later. When seated, the staff claimed we had only reserved for two, despite our party of four, and accused us of āsneaking inā due to their own error. The bartenderās hostility was unwarranted and unprofessional.
The drinks were subpar; the āMünchensen on Primeā tasted like burnt rubber, and requesting a simple Old Fashioned was met with resistance because it wasnāt on the menu. Four drinks cost $70, which is exorbitant given the quality.
To top it off, the hostess informed us, āLast call is at 11:30, and we kick people out by 12/12:15,ā a statement that felt more like a threat than a courtesy.
The attempt at exclusivity falls flat, resulting in an unwelcoming atmosphere that I would not recommend to anyone. One of the worst experience Iāve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a Nice Speakeasy. I've been to about 6 different Speakeasy's and this one is ranked somewhere above average. The entrance is a bit disappointing because it isn't hidden and it just takes away from the mystique of a hidden bar.... although the Vault Door is very cool. Now, where this place really shine's is it's customer service. They are very friendly and the best part is they are very organized. If your reservation is at 10pm, they are ready for you at 10pm....Big A+. The drinks are very well made. Bartender's take there time to make your drink correctly. Also the decor is on point. Great job. This place would have been a solid 5 star if it wasn't for the entrance compared to the other Speakeasy's I've been to. I still...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreText for reservations, you'll need them. You will not see signs of their entrance from the street and that's the way they like it. This word-of-mouth craft cocktail bar has a mid-19th Century, "Old Town" theme. Instead of curtains as their entrance I wish they would install saloon doors. The drinks are all priced at $14 each. They offer ounch bowls, meant to be shared and are very delicious. Staff is dressed to fit the theme and provide great service. The only dislike I had was were the acoustics. Everyone seems to be competing with each other to talk and the music choice didnt fit the decor theme at all. Overalll, it's a cool place to sip...
