Flower Child — Restaurant in Tempe

I discovered this whole area about two weeks ago, on a bike ride, and today, came back to try Flower Child in particular because of the healthy food focus. I'll have to say, love the design of the space and wow, is it operationalized - food is good quality and after you order, you get a number and then it is serve yourself tea, water and soda and you pick out your own utensils and napkins and find a seat, and then someone eventually drops off your order.

I had the Miso Ginger Crunch Salad, which was very fresh, though it seemed a slight bit salty (not Miso salty but salt, salty) but still good, and the added chicken protein was, you know, chicken breast (good for you) - I thought it was presented well and sat outside and loved the view (cloudy and only slightly warm day) though (old guy warning), the music was a bit loud (like I said, old guy). I did like that I could get a refill and my drink (a fresh brewed iced tea, quite good) and good place to people watch.

I did walk around the area and if you want a lower volume environment the sushi place and the Italian place seem somewhat more quiet but still, a good energy and healthy food - I'll be honest, we finished our salads and headed over to Otto's, on Ash and University, for a slice - but still, glad I went and good energy - as someone who teaches management courses I was very impressed with the operational efficiency of the...

I need to give a huge shout out to the manager, Trinity. She literally saved my rear end today! I ordered food for a faculty meeting through the Flower Child website and selected the delivery option. The delivery driver, contracted through DoorDash, dropped off our large food order at the wrong location. The driver proceeded to tell the manager at Flower Child that I gave the wrong address on my order. This was not the case and the manager of Flower Child, Trinity, was able to see that the address I entered was correct.

The lunch meeting would have been a total failure if it hadn’t been for Trinity. She put in a brand new fresh order and delivered it herself! I am so thankful to her and will be a customer for life because of this. Thank you so...

Just had dinner here with my wife and a couple of friends. Two of us had the Mediterranean bowl, one of us had the goddess bowl, and one of us had the yakisoba. Also had a side of shrimp and side of the cauliflower risotto. The restaurant was super clean, the service was nice and prompt, the food came out quick and well prepared and everyone was happy with what they ate.
