Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Texas

This location used to be pretty good but last night..... My strawberry limeade barely had any strawberry in it and my daughter's cherry slush was barely drinkable.

update 03/16/2022 I went late night to pick up some drinks and snacks and there was only one person taking orders (Christina) plus the cook, I believe. She was so sweet, so nice. We had a nice conversation. I felt bad because she was the only one working and said she had been there since 6 am. (It was about 10 pm at the time). She needs a serious raise. She was so pleasant and hard working. After reading all the terrible reviews this place had gotten and the bad service I've experienced in the past at this same location, it was so nice to have a great experience. The only thing that wasn't right was she gave me a regular strawberry milkshake instead of strawberry cheesecake like I asked for but I didn't even correct her because she was so sweet and honestly, it wasn't a big deal. I still enjoyed my strawberry shake. Christina is awesome and other worked can learn from her. That's EXCEPTIONAL...

I have never had a customer experience as poor as this in my life!! I ordered through the Sonic App and still had to wait 30 minutes to receive my order. When the carhop Kayla came to my car, I asked what took so long. She told me they have a lot of cars (mind you they only had 2 other cars) and that she doesn't need my attitude. She then asks me what my order was, and I respond by telling her she should know what I ordered, she's at my car delivering my food! She then proceeds to tell me that I better take my food before she drops it on the ground!!! I then tell the carhop Kayla that I would like to speak to her manager. She told me ok, turned to walk away, and hit my vehicle with the tray!! When the manager came out, I explained what happened. Instead of apologizing, the manager makes an excuse. Her cell phone then rang, she answered her cell phone while I was still talking to her, and she walked off! My fries were cold and stale, my mozzarella sticks were dry, they forgot my shake, and they didn't give me any condiments. I will...

I knew when I drove into this Sonic, I was making a wrong decision but it's conveniently located and I didn't have time to drive around. This is by far the worst Sonic I have ever patronized. Several times they've gotten my order wrong. The only reason I had continued going is because my daughter likes their pretzels. Well, today was the last time this Sonic will get my money. I was there literally 45 mins or more after I ordered my food. I went during my lunch break which is 30 mins. I had already paid so I couldn't leave and requesting a refund would have taken longer that waiting for the food so I stayed and waited...and waited. They bring the food and guess what? Order was WRONG, as usual. Waited another 15-20 mins for someone to let them know and for them to bring the correct order. By this time, I'm late for my work meeting. Get the food, it was sloppily prepared and just overall nasty. No care is taken in the preparation of the food. They just threw the food together. I ended up throwing my burger in the trash....
