McDonald's — Restaurant in Texas

Passing through Houston this Sunday morning about 9:30am my husband and I decided to stop for a quick breakfast at this location. There was a couple inside as well as a family and about 4-5 employees In the back. Not a single employee acknowledged our existence the entire visit. We waited at the counter for service for a couple minutes, no service so we used the kiosks to order. The food came out rather quickly but apparently syrup is an extra charge when you order a pancake platter???? I ordered a coffee but my husband just wanted a small water cup. They tried to charge $1 for that. Not happening. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. Most of the food was ok, all 3 hash browns were burned to a crisp but when I stood at the counter for another couple minutes waiting to ask for fresh ones, I realized expecting any service from these people was too much. So we left. As we get in the car, full of disappointment I go to drink my coffee that was finally cooling down. At that time I realized no creamer or sugar had been put into the coffee like the 2 creamers and 3 sugars I ordered on the kiosks. In hindsight I should’ve checked the coffee but I fell into the assumption that my order would be handled correctly. Again, that expectation was waaaay too much. I’m a habitual coffee drinker and that’s something I enjoy every morning. We stopped at the next McDonalds a couple miles away and had a brief but enjoyable experience. We were greeted immediately by the friendly lady at the counter, I explained I needed cream and sugar, she obliged and we...

I just left here. The guy that took my order he said he was a Manger. He was friendly great customer service. So I ordered a double ch burger no pickles. An some fries. I said make it fresh because I can wait soon I get to the second window here goes my food. I said can yall make it fresh I know that's not fresh. So they have me pull up to the 3rd window to wait. 3 minutes later here comes my food. An this was suppose to be the other Manger she has piercing in her face her name that was told to me was Alexis. So she hands me my food I say is there ketchup she says it should be with an attitude an gets ready to slam the window so I then said well wait let me check. So I check an see there is none so then she rolls her lil eyes slam the window an walk off to go get the ketchup then she comes back with a hand full of ketchup trying to be a smart axx! Hands it to me an roll her eyes again an slam the window an walk off. I wasn't rude to big girl. So I go back to the drive through an ask the man what's her name an was there a Manger an he says yes It's 2 of us an then he says she is a Manger as well. I tell him she is rude. Then I drive off my food is not fresh an it has pickles on it. I threw it right away. She is very rude an doesn't have customer service skills an she shouldn't be a Manger. If this is the McDonald's on 45 by Splash town in Spring, it's the worst! Which is a shame because it's right by my house! Last 3 visits have been horrible! Mostly because the staff is the rudest I've encountered in quite some time. They literally never smile! Seem agitated that they even had customers! All three of our last visits, got our orders wrong! Example of last visit...I had ice coffee, it was way too sweet, asked the angry lady if she could please put more coffee and I had no clue what she put in it but it was something nasty like dirty water or fishy taste and smell. I asked for manager and ask her to smell it (politely) she rudely with serious attitude said "I'm not tasting" it and walked away! I was trying to tell her again "No ma'am, not taste smell" she completely ignored me, made another coffee placed it on counter and walked away! And my order was wrong ... Happy meal was supposed to have two small fries because my child does not like yogurt or apples but it only had one small fry and nothing else and they forgot to give me her Sprite cup and had attitude when I asked for it. The other child had chicken strips that was old, cold and hard. She only ate one. I will never ever go back to that location again! Instead I'll have to go out of my way.
