Where should I begin...I guess I'll try to go in order ..keep in mind I'm not usually a person that would complain I usually "role with it" and understand mistakes happen...but this experience was different and I won't hold my tongue. First, we arrive party of 4, door is locked and we have to be let in (7:20pm). I noticed this happened a lot through the night, we were seated at a booth by the door 30min after we arrived which is what we were initially told 20-30min wait. While waiting though, the short dark haired, tattooed (I have no problem with any of that, I just dnt remember her name because she never gave it) manager comes up to the host(young boy maybe 19) and scolds him in front of about 15 waiting customers(inappropriate)... After we are seated our waiter who is completely nice and professional gets out drink order. We wait about 10min for our drinks. They are correct. We order our appetizers as well that combo platter they have x2 and cheese dip. It comes out about 10min later as well. My friend has barely taken 3 bites and finds a hair. Grossed out a little bit but then we think maybe it was hers and everything is fine. Then her husband finds a hair in his ranch! It's tiny and looked a little like a fiber and we think maybe it was from the seal on the container.... In the meantime, the waiter returns to take our order and I mention when he starts to walk away that they should hold the hair, he refers me to his manager(the shorthair girl from before) she walks over I tell her, she explains how embarrassing that is and she proceeded to remove one of the combos from our check. Our food comes out (brought by someone else)about 20-25min after we orderedš well some of it. At first they only have 3 of our main plates, we all got Xtra shrimp for a dollar more, one was missing as well as a fry order. They bring out the other main plate and while explaining what was missing, the long blonde hair lady bartender yells at our server to stop what he's doing right now and come take another tables drink order. He never even said anything, just did as she said. The food had good flavor but All the shrimp was cold(it was supposed to be grilled and hot) my husband's sirloin was tough and not cooked properly...I did speak with the manager before we left about this experience and she took off an extra 50% off the bill but I'll never go back to this Applebee's or maybe any Applebee's after this. It was the worst dining experience of my life. If that wasn't bad enough the next day my friend sends me a picture. She was finishing up her shrimp leftovers and almost the last bite she finds a short curly black hair...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere do I begin? We called for a reservation for a large party (21) prior to arriving. When we arrived we were greeted and seated. The bartender came over and took drink orders and proceeded to take food orders. The first round of drinks (non-alcoholic) arrived without incident. The manager comes out and ensures us he will take care of anything that we need. Our party finishes their drinks and waits for someone to resurface to request refills. Empty drink glasses remained on the table as the food trickled out. When the food started to arrive, we were given plastic forks and knives (who can eat steak with plastic ware). The broccoli was so salty, it couldn't be eaten. The food order had to be repeated to the server because we were missing multiple dinners. We asked three times about the whereabouts of the missing dishes. We asked for metal silverware to eat the steaks and were given steak knives only, which thr manager informed us he just washed. It wouldn't have been so bad, but the restaurant was empty, so it was hard to understand what was going on. The steaks were charred and overdone and most of the dinner were HEAVILY salted, to point they were inedible. When the manger came to the table, an excuse was given about the prep guy will be talked to about it. The final two dishes arrived after thr other 19 people had finished their dinners. The waitress, who we only saw for drink orders, had the audacity to ask us for a review. She told us that location was having a competition. Im glad I didn't her name as she did not really not serve anything and was less than helpful....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is usually good and lately it hasn't been as crowded as it used to be so that's nice. We are able to have nice dinners when we go. I noticed no one opens the door for you when you walk in or leave anymore. Also I used the online order for the first time the other day. I came in on the left side of the restaurant and did not see where to park. I knew at other restaurants they had designated parking for pick up orders so I parked in the space right in front of the front door. The parking lot only had 3 cars in it so they were not busy at all but the hotel next door was busy with cars everywhere. So I text to let them know I had arrived which is a requirement. After twelve minutes no one had come out so I went in. A waitress came up to me and I explained why I was there and that I had sent the text that I had arrived but noone had come out. She says oh you weren't in the parking spot which she pointed out was on the busy hotel side. I apologized and let her know that it was my first time using the service and I was unaware of where to park but I did park at the front door and sent the text when I arrived. She said she received the text but since I wasn't in the right space she didn't bring the food. WOW! Personally I think I would have at least called the customer to see what was going on but that's just me. So even though I arrived right on time I had to eat soggy Wonton tacos because God forbid she picks up the phone to see why her customer text to say they had arrived but they weren't in the right...
