Unbelievably rude, incredibly lazy & unprofessional managers, team leaders, and staff (with exceptions of course). I have disabilities, so instead of walking and dining in, I ordered my food from the drive-thru. At the window, I was handed the soda with ice, although I requested no ice. I dumped that drink, I handed the empty cup back, and I asked the drive-through employee, if she can give me a refill of the same drink without ice. She went asking her manager and when she came back, she refused to give me a refill. The manager came to the window and refused to give me a refill, too. She was asking me to pay additional money for a refill to which I responded that it was preposterous and I will not pay additional money for a refill when there are free refills if one is ordering inside the restaurant, the price being the same for drive-thru & in-store. I asked her, if I should report this to Steve (who is the Area Manager and I've known for 20+ years) to which she angrily replied that he retired and he is not in charge anymore (with some satisfaction to this fact in her facial expression). There was nothing else left to do, so, I told her that I'll come inside and get my own drink without ice from the machine. She closed the window, quickly ran and locked all the doors at 8:31 pm, preventing me and other customers to walk into the store. That is how determined to take an action and look authoritative in the eyes of the teenage employees she was, teaching them incredibly unskillful and inappropriate behavior. At this point, I wanted to return the food and get my money back but I could not even talk to her as she quickly hid inside, near the prep area. I drove again via the drive-thru and when I reached the window, she wouldn't come to it and the employee was not allowed to open the window. I couldn't even request a refund and I was stuck with that food and no drink. I drove around to the front of the store and knocked on the locked door. I was bringing and showing to her the untouched food with the receipt as an indication that I wanted to return the food. She was standing behind the counter and was waiving at me as a sign of "bye-bye". That was extremely rude behavior from someone that supposed to uphold some standards and norms (even minimum) of Taco Bell's customer service. Here is another not so minor detail to mention - I have problems with my legs walking and yet, I was standing in front of locked doors of a fast food restaurant, risking to fall on the snow covered icy surface outside, with hands full of food that was getting cold and stiff. With hand gestures I showed her that I will call the police. I didn't realize that she already has done that to escalate the situation and to cover her rude and incompetent behavior. When the police arrived after a while, I explained what happened. The female officers were stating that I'm not supposed to get a refill at the drive through, without hearing my entire concern. They sounded as they were part of Taco Bell's establishment, knowing & interpreting Taco Bell's policies. They convincingly stated that I'll not get a refund, going even further assigning a blame, saying that it was my fault my food was cold & stiff. I waited for them to arrive so as to peacefully find a commonly beneficial solution to this problem, without having to go any further for the sake of this angry, manipulative, rude and unqualified so to call manager. Because of her incompetence, the whole store's shift mgrs & team leaders are acting unacceptable by even the lowest standards handling customer complaints. No one is listening and even the authorities serve and protect the discriminatory, choosing sides not based on merit but by ownership & financial situation. They took the side of the big establishment, even though I called them as well, without investigating in depth the issue at hand. The upper management is not even aware of the unskillful, to say the least, acts their representative managers do, expressing anger & rage towards customers that seek...
Read moreI ordered a grill burreo like the picture and it tasted yummy and it was portioned well. TODAY: 5 Oct. I went to Fremont Taco Bell and ordered the same burrito. It was not any bigger then the thumb. I took one bite and realized. They gave me the wrong order, went thru drive thur again to place a second order, when I went to paid, i said they didn't give me the correct order, the server said it was, the manager said it was. I said, it doesn't look like picture and she asked what my problem was. I said;" i DON'T want it this, and she asked for the burrito BACK and i asked for a refund, i said i could give it to her at the doorway, as to pass back thur the window is cross contamination. She said;" what is that" what is my problem, and she kept saying i am sorry you are having a bad day, and i said i am not, she kept string at me mean and i again said i can give YOU the order at the door because i didnt want to do cross contamination and she kept cruising me and i then let her KNOW that i have been working in franchise businesses and i didn't LIKE her making me feel bad and asked for her name, she refused me and I asked for the supervisor she said ahe was manager and i meantioned i was going to report her rude and mean behavior and she made me feel so nervous and i felt paralyzed as she was so mean. I gave her the food thur the window.. But what she needs is to be retrained. Cross contamination is serious She didn't care about the staff or customers or the food that was going to be served. She didn't know or care if I have the FLU, or a contiguous virus or anything... Lucky for her and the restaurant, I am well. But, I was driving my sons auto and it has alot of dog hair and i did place the burrito on the seat as i drove up to drive thur, so now their is puppy hair that could become airborne in the resturant kitchen. And yes, the dogs are rescue and they are being treated for intestinal rare worms brought on by their former environment. So i am really happy with how Toledo Taco Bell treats considers the health and wellbeing and great service and correct portion...
Read moreRacist work here! Minorities must avoid this location. Come to get food, staff will be rude, come on vacation, leave on probation. I came 5 minutes before opening even though they had a sign on the door saying that they were supposed to be open an hour before I got there, and the racist manager came to the locked door and said we open at 9:00 am, I guess I was supposed to take a hint that what she really meant was go away black boy. Giving this racist the benefit of the doubt (something never to be done with a racist) I decided to wait the five minutes until they opened. A Caucasian/Edomite police officer came and said he received a call that I made the racist manager nervous. He then told me that I was breaking the law by trespassing. I stated that I was told that they would be open in five minutes and that I was only waiting the five minutes till they opened, I stated that no taco bell staff had asked me to leave let alone trespass me. He said that the manager called him and told him I made the manager "nervous" and that he the police was trespassing me. I said please may I have my identification back so I can leave? He said "no! I'm going to run your name through the computer and if I can't find something to arrest you on then you can leave! After running my name and seeing an excellent report with no pending charges or warrants he gave me my id. Back and said now leave and never return not even if I'm a passenger in the drive thru or he will hunt me down and put me in jail. I said no problem officer, I never want to eat where I'm not wanted. It's the good ole boy Jim Crow days all over again. Over 2000 years of this same history speaks volumes about the content of their character. I went next door to Burger King where the staff was all minorities. They were not nervous and welcomed me with love and kindness. I think there was a lesson to be learned here, so I'm only choosing to spend my money with minorities for my own safety from here on out. I'm not telling you to do the same if you're a minority, the jail cell the racist cop had for me...
