Beware this place never has seafood available even though itâs a âseafood restaurantâ. They are always out of everything. I wanted to give this place a higher rating because the atmosphere wasnât bad, however the service is absolutely terrible. Every single time Iâve been here, Iâve waited 20+ minutes to be greeted by a server. Plus another 30 minutes to get drinks. I even ordered my second drink the moment my first drink got to the table, and it still took 30 minutes for my second drink to arrive. They did not include it on the happy hour even though I ordered it during happy hour. This is a common occurrence. Every time Iâve been here the restaurant was not full and not very busy, yet our servers managed to forget about us every time. We always had to wave a random person down to get anything, and on top of it they were rude. Also, when we are there for happy hour, the hosts always seat us in the area that doesnât do happy hour and then we have to move. Every time we move there is no server aware of our presence so we end up waiting 20+ minutes. Last time we had to ask a random server to serve us. She said nothing and then went up to another server who reluctantly took our order. A manager even came up to us to ask how we were doing so we took the opportunity to ask for boxes and he never came back. The food is not great and the chairs/booths are always sticky. Iâve given up on this spot...
Read moreThis was my 2nd dinner at Market Broiler, just trying to give it a 2nd Charle since the 1st visit was sub-par. This was actually worse. I went by myself, and sat at the bar, thinking I'd be attended to better. The bar was steady, but not super busy. I went before 6 on Saturday afternoon and sat right next to the well. I had to get the bartenders attention for every single thing! Excuse me, can I order a glass of wine? I'm ready to order dinner now. Can I please get some bread? And after finishing my meal and sitting for 15 minutes, I finally asked for the check. No one every checked to see if I wanted another glass of wine, or how the meal was (I give it a 3 out of 5). I always try to give places with poor service at least 2 tries, but they're are so many great seafood restaurants in the south bay, I'm going to go someplace else. Side note...a couple was sitting next to me at the bar, and as I gathered my belongings to go, they lamented the poor service they received as well. I'm not surprised that they weren't full when I left...
Read moreWe had a slight hiccup at the beginning of the night BUT the manager Lauren was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure everything was A+ the rest of the night. The food was delicious. I had the halibut with spinach and the Patron margarita. It was all delicious. They did a phenomenal job offering a GF menu; making my ordering experience much more pleasant. My two boys had the bone-in ribeyeâs both medium rare with fries and asparagus. They LOVED it! Both of them didnât leave a bite of steak. My husband had the lemon caper prawns and said that dish was solid too, although he said he would order the halibut dinner next time. I canât say enough about how Lauren jumped in immediately and offered us the most wonderful rest of our evening. It could have gone the other way but we will be back and would highly recommend for anyone looking for really good food, amazing service, great options, yummy drinks and...
