I recently had the pleasure of visiting Friendly's, and it turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience! From the warm atmosphere to the scrumptious food, everything was simply top-notch. However, what truly made my visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by our waitress, Molly.
From the moment Molly greeted us with her radiant smile, we knew we were in for a fantastic dining experience. Her friendly and attentive nature immediately put us at ease, making us feel like valued guests. Molly's enthusiasm was infectious, and it created a genuinely pleasant atmosphere throughout our entire meal.
Molly's knowledge of the menu was remarkable. She effortlessly guided us through the extensive options, recommending her personal favorites and providing helpful descriptions of each dish. Her genuine passion for the food and her willingness to accommodate our dietary preferences was truly commendable. Thanks to Molly's guidance, we ended up ordering the most delicious meals that perfectly satisfied our cravings.
Throughout our meal, Molly's attention to detail was impeccable. She ensured our drinks were always refilled, checked in on us at regular intervals, and even anticipated our needs before we had a chance to ask. Her prompt and efficient service allowed us to relax and enjoy our time without any worries.
What truly sets Molly apart is her warm and engaging personality. She interacted with us on a personal level, taking the time to chat and make us feel like part of the Friendly's family. Her genuine interest in our dining experience made us feel truly valued and appreciated.
It's rare to come across a waitress as dedicated and passionate as Molly. Her professionalism, coupled with her delightful demeanor, transformed a simple meal into a memorable occasion. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
I cannot recommend Friendly's enough, especially if you have the pleasure of being served by Molly. Her exceptional service, attention to detail, and radiant personality truly elevated our visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by Friendly's and experience the magic firsthand. And don't forget to ask for Molly; she'll make your visit an...
Read moreWe stopped in tonight around 7:15 or so There were 2 couples ahead of us waiting to be seated. After about 5 minutes one of the waitresses seated the first couple… another 7-8 minutes later, a young guy seated the second couple. 20 minutes later, my husband and I were still standing waiting for someone to seat us… or even acknowledge us … or look in our direction There were 2 girls in the kitchen doing the takeout and ice cream. The one waitress was also going back and doing ice cream. My husband commented to me that he counted 16 clean empty tables… maybe 4 additional tables needed to be cleared. He stopped the young guy at one point and asked if we could be seated as there were plenty of open tables… the response was “I don’t know… those aren’t my tables”. My husband told him he didn’t care where we sat… could we please just get a table? He was told “I’ll get you someone”. Now the fun begins… what we got was the two older waitresses walking by and shooting us looks (still not actually acknowledging that we were standing there… nothing.. not even a “we’ll be right with you…”). Then one of them walks by, shoots us a dirty look and starts shaking her head like we are behaving badly. At this point, we turn around and the 4 people who were waiting behind us simply left. I’m ready to leave and find another place to eat as even I am getting angry at the way these two women are totally ignoring the fact that we have now been standing there over 30 minutes. It has to be one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever encountered. I know places are busy, but there were 4 people waiting on tables. After the 3rd time the young waiter walks by, my husband in frustration tells him “If we’re not seated in the next 30 seconds, we’re out of here”… which got absolutely no response. We have been going to this Friendly’s for years and have never been treated this way… I’m sorry but you had enough people on staff tonight to cover the business, so there was no excuse… there NEVER is for the plain old rudeness we encountered tonight. We did head over to Cracker Barrel, where they were happy to seat us and had...
Read moreI wish I could give this Friendly's a better rating, but after several patronages the trend is unmistakable. There is nothing wrong with the food, but the service is abhorrent. Wait times are atrociously long whether you sit inside or get a to-go order from the window. For example, I once ordered a honey BBQ chicken supermelt to go via phone. The girl taking my order said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I live two miles away, so I made sure not to rush over there, and after 15 minutes of waiting I rode my bicycle so that I wouldn't arrive too early. Even after I arrived I waited 23 additional minutes to get my food, and by then it was lukewarm. While sitting inside it has been a common occurrence to wait an hour for my food, and I typically dine alone. During another visit, I only got a chocolate milkshake for my girlfriend, and I was the only one at the ice cream window. No one noticed me when I approached it, so I rang the bell after a minute. The manager, Linda B. (what it says on her name tag), said she'd be with me in a minute. This was my most recent visit to this store, and I'd already been disgruntled by the wait times, so I decided to run my stopwatch on this one. After Linda said she'd be only a minute, it was 4 min 33 seconds before she took my order, and then it was 9 min 16 seconds total before I had the milkshake in my hand. That's unacceptable when you're the only customer waiting at the window and only order a single, easy item.
It's not just the fact that service here is deplorably slow. What exacerbates it is that the management doesn't care. Their lax attitudes rub off on the employees, and despite having submitted two complaints online, I've never received a response. They...
