Hmmm.. interesting thoughts. Alright so ambiance 5/5. Outdoor seating cute 5/5. Staff was nice. There was a big line out the door. They let me taste test the macadamia milk cuz I never had it before, which, by the way, was delicious! Unfortunately we have to give it 4 stars because they messed up our order pretty bad. I asked for iced coffee and got cold brew. We asked for different sizes than what we got. My friend disliked her dirty chai so much that she threw it out. BUT, I was honestly pretty happy with my coffee and the macadamia milk!! I also LOVED that they had a vegan coconut blueberry muffin option. I think I’d really rather give this place 4.5 stars because I’d personally go back! Some of us were frustrated because of the order mistakes but all in all I was happy! I’d give it a second try again! After all, now I like macadamia nut milk because of this place! For more Long Island reviews, visit us on Instagram @andiamoadventure

This spot serves great coffee with a super chill vibe. The couches are a fantastic touch, making it a cozy place to relax. Their Vietnamese coffee? Absolutely top-notch. That said, the setup for milk and sugar could use a little tweaking. When the shop gets busy, the corner station creates a bit of a bottleneck. It’s a little awkward standing around with a hot, open coffee while waiting for others to finish prepping their drinks. Still, the quality of the coffee and the overall atmosphere more than make up for it. Highly recommend stopping by!

Everyone in here looked so cool I felt like I was part of an exclusive club. $10 for a cold brew and a yogurt - very nice looking pastries, but no gluten free options. It’s very close to the beach, so you can park, get your coffee and snack, and then take them on a short beach walk and maybe watch some surfers. Good coffee, great locale, -1 star for no GF pasteries

Limited seating, but I captured one and claimed it. There was no way I was going to stand after riding seventy miles on my carbon pony. I still had many miles to go to get to Montauk Village.

Love this place! LHC is a very cool venue to "take the edge off" with a cuppa joe, as they say in some Navy bars around the world. But when it comes to Left Hand Coffee, taking the edge off involves imbibing hot, black liquid laden with caffeine. That's right. While caffeine may make other people jittery and alert, java has the opposite effect on me. It chills me out and sometimes causes me to nap involuntarily. Maybe it is because coffee keeps me artificially awake until all systems shut down and my head hits the table, forehead first. I don't come here too often because Easthampton is a bit of a hike from Islip, Long Island. I must apply for a visa and all that... If this retired squid lived in your hood, I would be holding forth with at least five cups per day. It worked when driving a submarine and is effective still. The difference is the cold brew. Never had it before until I came here.

But when I do a long distance bike ride to Montauk this is always one of my favorite stops. It is a relaxing environment and a fine departure from cookie cutter Starbucks, ad nauseam etc etc.. FYI: keep your right hand above the table where we can see it at all times. Just saying. We don't want the owner changing the name because...

I ordered two shots of espresso and politely asked for a cup of ice. The woman behind the counter responded with unnecessary attitude, saying she should charge me for the ice and that I “might as well have ordered an ice latte.” Her tone was rude and unprofessional. I’ve never been spoken to like that as a paying customer.

This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I spend time in Montauk every week during the summer with friends and family, and it’s disappointing to be treated this way in a place we were looking forward to trying.

A little kindness and professionalism go a long way—especially when dealing with first-time customers. I also sent an email to the company and never received a response, which only adds to the frustration. I hope the staff receives some guidance on customer service...
