Amazing little grocery/cafe. The first day we arrived in town we were too late for the cafe but the grab and go fridge was full of delicious options that we were able to eat in the cafe area. We enjoyed lunch in the cafe the next day. What we really loved is the customizable menu allowing us to ensure our dietary requirements were met (vegan and vegetarian). We loved the place so much we stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town. Not only did the woman working in the cafe remember us from our first visit she also remembered our dietary preferences and offered add-ons to our sandwiches after we had paid. I ordered 3 sandwiches and a drink to go. After 30 mins no food. I asked what is going on and after 35 mins my small order was ready. Too slow. The girl behind the counter wrapped the hot sandwiches in tin foil. When I opened the sandwiches back at my hotel the tin was breaking apart and ended up in the sandwich. What was really strange was the girl behind the counter handed me and my wife the sandwiches to us without a bag. They were so hot that she almost dropped hers on the floor. Why did she not bag them. The 3 sandwiches cost 32 dollars with a smoothie. Back at the hotel I had to toss 2 of them. They were small and the drink was for a toddler size. Not going back. I wish I went some where else. if you enjoy environmentally and health-conscious/organic food, well conceived/balanced raw food smoothies, fabulous salads, sandwiches and soups for breakfast, lunch and dinner; as well as staff who appear to be happy, healthy and good people, you will love this place. we are a little spoiled coming from NYC and having so many options from which to choose to support our healthy/mostly raw food lifestyle. we rarely find anything outside of the city that compares to, much less rivals, what we are accustomed to. we ate here (both at the Main Street and on Saranac Avenue - which has more options and more seating indoors and outdoors). i can't recommend this place...
