Enuf Pastry & Cheese — Restaurant in Town of North Elba

We hired Enuf Chocolates as our wedding dessert baker for our microwedding. The bakery was recommended by our reception venue, Smoke Signals. Late last year we were in town and stopped in the bakery and asked if they'd be willing to do something a little different than the typical wedding cake. We wanted mini-tiramisus for our guests and a big tiramisu for us. Rene was delighted by the request and welcomed the break from all the wedding cakes. She delivered the tiramisus and set-up a beautiful display of them on wood stumps and she brought in some gold heart decor and greenery. We misplaced our cake topper and messaged her the day ofand she improvised by using a heart stencil with the cocoa powder that came out so nice. Our guests were already raving about how amazing the dessert display was and they raved even more after they ate the dessert. Some people were like I don't normally like tiramisu but I love this. and it was SO good. We brought our whole tiramisu (and maybe a few minis as well) back to our hotel and ate it all throughout our wedding weekend. Rene was a pleasure to work with. We had several calls and emails with her. And she listened and really captured what we wanted. What a cool place! I live in Austin, TX, but have family in Lake Placid, NY! Saw this bakery on Instagram and started following them! They make dog biscuits out of leftover beer waste! Obviously, I was hooked! I can not believe how much more they are, though. Everything I got was amazing. My favorites were the pretzel bagel (best I've ever had, must be the water! 😉), the gluten free cinnamon cake, and the strawberry-lemon croissant thingy! My husband was in heaven with the chocolate mousse cake with fresh raspberries and the Blueberry shortbread bar! The cookie was crazy good too! So many chocolate chips! A most delightful true bakery! Renee and her small staff set an array of intoxicating pastries on the counter each morning starting at 11am, fresh from the ovens behind them. Especially delicious are the made to order breakfast sandwiches along with a few other brunch type selections that change each day! I had a delicious fresh baked pretzel breakfast sandwich with a flaky blueberry and cheese strudel that I couldn’t resist for dessert. A cozy atmosphere with complimentary coffee should you choose to dine at the coffee bar or an outside table. Renee has incredible energy and a true passion for her craft.
