Very good atmosphere here, and a lot of great sandwiches to choose from. Their bread was supposed to be the best part, so I ordered with the caramelized onion bread. It really wasn't all that amazing, but it did taste very fresh. If ya like a Balsamic vinaigrette then you'd like it. As for the rest of the sandwich, well... first things first: there's a big sign that says that you can make your own sandwich, add ingredients to any sandwich, or change anything in any way. I saw a good looking sandwich, and all I wanted to do was toss a little lettuce in there to bring out the undertones of the vinegar already in the sandwich. I asked if they have lettuce. The lady got real confused, asked three people if it were possible, and I never saw her again. Two minutes later a new person came out and finished the order. :( I never got lettuce.

Too Little. Too much. $12 plus tax and a 10 percent tip brought my bill over $14. All new employees-3 of them made my cheese and vegetable wrap very small-based on my other trips getting the same wrap. Then they served it cold. After eating the cold half, I asked for the other side to be warmed up. Warming it up took forever and I had to remind them they were warming it up. I appreciate it is hard to find workers, but they need to be trained better. This trip will probably be my last. On a positive side, bake goods and soups look good. After going back to the Cash to buy a cookie, I explained my disappointment and she gave me the cookie for free (but she didn’t seem to happy with me).

Arrived to have lunch at 'Dak Shack, not realizing they weren't open for lunch. Decided to grab lunch at Simply Gourmet, which is attached. Their menu is pretty much the same as the Creperie in downtown. Fantastic assortment of sandwiches and salads. Plus they have a tempting bakery case with beautiful and delicious looking delights. I grabbed an oatmeal butterscotch cookie and didn't feel deprived by sharing it- it was large and really good. They don't have small sized chip bags so my lunch mate and I shared a larger bag of chips. The food was delicious but a bit pricey. If you're looking for a bit more upscale sandwich or salad with amazing variety of options this is your place.

We are extremely disappointed with our wedding catering experience. We are locals and have been loyal Simply Gourmet customers for years, so we expected top-notch service for our brunch wedding. Seeing it was a brunch wedding, we carefully selected both breakfast and lunch options from the catering menu. Our lunch selection included a variety of sliders. The wedding came and went and there were no sliders, yet we were charged for them. We immediately wrote the owner about the issue and did not receive a response for a month and a half. We finally got a refund for just over $200, which didn't seem right seeing we had ordered 2-3 sliders per person and had over 70 people in attendance. When we inquired again, we were simply told they were only planning for one slider per person because "there was a lot of other food." Not only should that have been our decision to make, but they were missing anyway. If we had known that, we would have gone a slightly different direction with the menu. On top of that, there were many menu items that guests never got to try because they were gone. We paid an exorbitant amount of money for what ended up feeling like a high-end continental breakfast. We were never even issued an apology for the inconvenience.

Not only will we not be supporting Simply Gourmet any longer, but we will no longer recommend their services, to our wedding planner or...

I guess I am out of sorts because the $12.00 sandwiches I purchased today looked like they were purchased at a gas station. I barely had any turkey on my sandwich and it seemed they were rationing even the amount of lettuce, etc. added to the sandwich. To call this a gourmet sandwich is quite a stretch. I may be old but I am not rude and the older woman at the register couldn't care less about customer service. Tourists coming in had no idea how to order since there isn't any direction on where to order from since they had a long counter with 4 people making sandwiches . Poor people were just patiently sanding in front of the counter waiting for someone to serve them while locals knew to go to the grumpy woman at the register to place your order. All and all not a great gourmet sandwich at all. I never write reviews but I bought 2 sandwiches and a drink for $32.00 and again even Mc Donald's would have been a better choice. Gourmet sandwiches for $12.00 should be stuffed with meat and all the trimmings piled high . Maybe it was an off day for the staff but I think that is probably...

I've been here twice, first time good service and decent food. Second time that I went in the girl at the register wouldn't get off the phone to acknowledge that I was there and didn't say a word to me. She would walk off on the phone come back a couple minutes later and then leave again. She didn't say I'll be with you not one word. I asked other employees if anyone could take my order, they all stood around doing nothing and said that she was the only one that could take the order. My nephew didn't know the name of the sandwich he orders from there so he wrote it down. The rude young woman read the order and tried to ring up a 20 dollar sandwich because she said there is no sandwich that had those ingredients. When I got back home I asked my nephew if the sandwich was on the menu, he then showed me the exact sandwich, it's called cliff, that the rude lady said they didn't have and it was 6 dollars cheaper than what she tried to charge me for ordering off menu. Either the management or owners are lax in their duties or she is a child of the owner....
