Fratellis — Restaurant in Town of North Elba

My dinner was awful. I do NOT recommend Fratellis.

When we arrived no one noticed or greeted us to seat us. The restaurant had one customer and the waitress was intent on chatting and flirting with him while he waited for his order prior to telling us to sit wherever we wanted to.

The dining room was so cold we asked if there was an air conditioner running. We were told that there is a fireplace (with a banquette against it) that acts like a wind tunnel and makes the room cold with a small breeze. The outside temperature was around 40 so this meant we had to keep our coats on to stay warm.

Finally, the food… that too was awful. We orderd a Margarita Pizza. We received a pie whose crust was gooey and un-cooked in the middle. The mozzarella had not been cut or trimmed so some slices had no cheese at all and others had a thick gooey piece of cheese. At no point did the waitress ask if everything was ok.

The service, the food and the ambiance were all unpleasant. This was not worth the money...

What a horrible place! We were in town for an Ironman event and we love pizza! We were so looking forward to our lunch outside! Had my husband sit outside with my pups, while I ordered. The owner came out with our food and literally verbally attacked us because of our pups. He was sooo disrespectful! We had picked the furthest table and there was absolutely no people eating outside at the time, so no one to be bothered by our pups. he literally treated us like our dogs had the plague. Def affected the beautiful experience we were having. He threw us out, although we were already leaving and we threw out his nasty...

the food was horrible - pizza was uncooked dough, Philly cheese steak was burnt, fries were mush, and wings were barely passable. Lunch came to around $58 for two people. The receipt showed I was overcharged on all items compared to their outdated menu they conveniently keep at the front cashier. The sign written inset erase marker clearly says 3.50 for a cheese and I was charged $4.16. All other items were higher than the in store menu prices. Wish I had reviewed the receipt but was traveling and rushing. Their air b&b was clean and nice but the restaurant was not...
