Dining at St. Cruz was an absolute pleasure, thanks to their phenomenal staff, whose hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Our server was wonderful, ensuring we had everything we needed while serving us tasty meals with warmth and attentiveness.
The atmosphere at St. Cruz was just as impressive as the food—a perfect blend of New York sophistication with a touch of Western charm, creating a stylish yet inviting setting that made the experience even more memorable.
The menu offered some delightful surprises, starting with their salmon in chorizo broth sautéed veggies brings—a unique twist that added depth and richness to the dish. Their tenderloin with grilled mushrooms was perfectly cooked, complemented by a flavorful pan sauce that tied everything together beautifully. But the real unexpected standout? Read moreI stayed at this hotel for a week and dined at this restaurant twice—both experiences were disappointing.
First Visit: The server forgot to submit our entrée order, and after waiting 30 minutes, we followed up only to learn he forgot & the kitchen was now closed. We had no choice but to order delivery while we were still seated at the restaurant.
Second Visit: We made an 8:45 PM reservation but weren’t seated until 9:20 PM. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes for the waitress to inform us they had run out of food. Despite seeing other tables being served, we were offered a makeshift plate of leftover items. By 9:45PM, it was too late to find another restaurant, so we accepted the scraps, which were missing key ingredients listed on the menu.
To make matters worse, we weren’t given utensils or napkins—I had to retrieve them from the bar myself. Despite all of these issues and lack of service, we were charged full menu prices for incomplete dishes.
While I understand the waitress wasn’t responsible for running out of food, the lack of communication, effort to improve our experience, or any gesture to make it right (e.g., comping part of the bill) was unacceptable.

She made a hectic day at the start so smooth and lovely. I can’t explain my appreciation for this experience. Every day was a joy getting breakfast with Daniela. The food was good but the service is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. She is amazing and understood without me saying I was rushing that I needed to be somewhere last minute and she was very attentive and perceptive. I feel like the flow was really nice to experience and her demeanor made me calm during my stay. It was so nice to have such an amazing experience at the St. Cruz Restaurant and the lovely aroma and atmosphere of the Leo Kent. I hope to come back and enjoy another stay.
