Atmosphere was a little crowded but that gave me confidence about the food and Service As I had seen this place as a top pick on Yelp. Food was Pretty good and Came out fast! HOWEVERA, Service Was Below Poor. When we first arrived place was packed and we were told by the waitress, it would be a 10 minute wait shortly after we arrived two other parties arrived. When the waitress returned she asked the other party how many Guest we’re there going to be and they said just two as well. She then proceeded to attempt to seat them until my Good friend reminded her that We were the first to arrive. She didn’t seated us both at the same time because two tables right next to each other were available. That gave me a chance to see the difference between the service that she gave us versus the service that she gave the table next to us . The table next to us got to see her multiple times And order drinks while we only saw her twice Which was to take our order and bring her us our check. When she took our order she was extremely short and seemed ready to move to the next table. But when she serviced the table next to us she gave them Suggestions and patience To comfortably make a selection. There were other things on the menu that I wanted to try but because the service was so poor I realized It would be quicker and more pleasurable to just leave and try the Sake next time. But HERE IS THE KICKER… the second time that she visited our table which was to bring out our check.. She SHADOWED OVER my Friends back and watched him put in the tip amount as if she was trying to pressure him to not give her the amount that she deserved which if you ask me is Zero dollars, however he just lowered the amount to 5$. After leaving I reflected on the below-par service and decided to leave a Review. Also I hate to throw this in there but my friend and I were the only African Americans in the restaurant so maybe we just looked...
Read moreI have been coming here for a couple years now and never had a problem until I showed up here a few days ago on Sunday with my fiancé. We showed up around after 6PM and it was conveniently quiet and the atmosphere of the restaurant seem great. After waiting approximately 6 minutes for a table to open, I politely asked the server if we can have a different table that is not next to the door because of privacy reasons and my fiancé has a medical condition that makes her shake from the cold. Unfortunately after we asked for a different table, the employees didn't realize that I speak japanese and understand their unprofessional conversations they had behind the wall where their register is. They made remarks about how we looked just because we had colored hair and they even said some inappropriate curse words in Japanese while giggling behind the wall that our table was next too. We can hear everything they are saying and it breaks my heart that the older Japanesem lady who usually works here wasn't working on that following day because I would of reported the three younger female employee's. During the inital meal with my fiancé, there was a 6 party who came in not even 6 minutes after we got our food and one younger female kept looking to see if we are done eating to try to give us our bill to have that 6 party seated. At this point, I took my sweet time eating with my fiancé because this was suppose to be a special occasion for the both of us. One female kept looking around the corner to see if we were done and we absolutely did not receive any good customer service or even a water refill. The food was fantastic I had no issues whatsoever, after paying for the dinner the female with glasses didn't even say thank you after we said thank you, instead she said okay. I don't think I will ever come back here again. It's a shame you have immature employee's who can't keep...
Read moreWe came here hungry after a long day in Seattle. We ordered our food and I had to repeat twice what we were requesting to correct the server. I could tell she was rushing.
Our order comes out and my husband got what we ordered. My brother on the other hand got an extra egg that he did not order. We advised the server that this was wrong and she came back with her pad repeating what she thought we had ordered. We corrected her yet again and they brought out the order this time minus all of the eggs including the one that should have come with the order. He also ordered butter to be added that he did not receive. Again, my brother patiently waited for the server who did not come around so my brother had to walk up to the window to ask for what he ordered. Again, they were confused.
To top this all off, they neglected to remove the charge for the extra item we did not order. Then she proceeded to openly argue with me in front of customers that she thought we ordered something we never ordered. I don't understand what the point of this was, but we might as well have walked into the kitchen and grabbed what we wanted to eat. The communication and people skills of these servers were beyond ridiculous.
As a customer, I expect to walk into a restaurant, order the food I am PAYING for and get what we requested at the minimum and this place couldn't get that right. Then to top it all off, you have a staff member that wants to openly argue with a paying customer. If you're considering this place for a meal, I would...
