On arrival, cashier greeted me cheerfully... fairly confidently. 3 in my party. GF order the double and a chocolate shake. I order a #1, with cheese, mayo, mustard pickle only with a strawberry malt. My son order a #1 with a strawberry malt. Paid and were handed one of those light up coasters things and we go to find a table. There was only 2 other occupied tables, EVERY.SINGLE.TABLE was dirty. I ask the girl at the counter if she could clean some tables, she says she will be out in a sec. 5 minutes later... coaster goes off, I go to get the food. I again ask for tables to be cleaned before I set food on them. She again says she will in a sec and proceeds to make shakes. I also question the order and was told the shakes will be out in a minute. I tell her that there is fries missing too. She then full on throws the cashier under the bus saying she is new and having “problems” with her. After getting the 3 burgers to the table, We find that only 1 of the 3 was made correctly. I take them to the counter and the manager does the same thing. I point out that they were entered into the computer right, but made wrong. He insists it was the cashier girl. I feel sorry for her. I really do. Really (NOT) classy to toss any employee under the bus like that He takes the order again and hand carries it to the prep area. I hear him tell the cook at least 3 more times “ with cheese, mayo, mustard, pickle only”. It truly seemed like they just did not want to make it that way. By the time the two burgers arrive, my GF is just about done and we still do not have the other fries. After I am about 3/4 through the burger the fries arrive. At this time the manager comes to the table and tosses two free burger cards onto the table and walks away. They won’t be losing money on those, went straight into the trash. The malts and shake were... adequate. Much better shakes at a few other burger places.... McD’s, FiveGuys. The fries were good, just don’t look for mayo to dip em in ( my preference). Was like pulling teeth to get a miniscule amount. The burgers... save your money. Go elsewhere.... ANYWHERE. If you remember the old Wendy’s ad of “where’s the beef?”. Yeah, was aimed at places like this. Patty was tiny, waaaayyy more bun than burger. Flat top grilled ( ala McDonalds).
Bottom line is this.. looking for a good burger, good value in a clean place? This is not it. For as much as I dislike RR, I’d go there first.
Avoid this place, make it a Habit to drive on by. You will be...
Read moreDecent burger. I made the sacrifice for my fellowman and got a burger, fries, and shake. Being raised in Seattle I know we have tons of trendy sit down hipster burger joints around here. If you’re expecting or wanting that; I’d say go elsewhere. This place does slightly remind me of in n’ out... slightly. The burger style definitely resembles in n’ out a bit, don’t know if that was intentionally done or just me that thinks that.
Burger: I got the double charburger with bacon and cheese. Two things that stood out to me, tons of cheese; like my burger was oozing cheese. And a nice amount of bacon too. When you’re charging me a premium price for add ons give me what I’m paying for. These guys definitely do. The meat was nicely seasoned, and well their claim to fame is charred and flame cooked burgers. So because of that the burger was nice and hot and had a decent charred taste. I tend to be a little more on a medium and some pink in my burger guy and I didn’t get that. Maybe if I specified that better next time. Again overall a decent burger; not the best not the worst.
Fries: nothing to write home about in my onion. They weren’t piping hot like I would have liked and they did lack some salt. The flip side is they do have a fry sauce that again reminds me of in n’ outs spread sauce- just not quite as good. But still good. I ended up putting some of it on my burger as well.
Shake: not the best not the worst shake I’ve ever had either. The strawberry had a very fake taste and unfortunately the ice cream was sort of icy not as creamy as I would have liked. But it was a decent size, it was warm out, and it complemented the burger ok. But I probably wouldn’t buy the shake again.
Overall? I’d probably come back for the burger if I were in the area, probably not much more. And while the burger was good; definitely not the “best burger in America” at least not in my book. The drink and condiments area was a little dirty, as I was getting a lid for my drink I got something on my fingers like ketchup or something. That may be why they only got a “good” on their county food safety rating. So not saying not to try it, just saying I gotta bring them back down a notch and say if you want a really solid burger? You’re better off...
Read moreSo by the time my order was done I was already there. There is the left and right side of the restaurant. I was parked on the left side where thr patio was because thats where I saw the door. Waited for 10 minutes after noticing through text i was here. After waiting i decided to drive around the restaurant to see of the have another entrance i didnt see since they would be closing in a couple mins. First time at this location mind you, actually at this joint in general. I pull up near the curb and read where it says wait here for curb side. I then pull close up , not parked because I was the only car there and i see one table dining and ppl behind the register. I was hoping to catch someone's attention since I'm their last order before closing.
A girl comes out and asked me if I need someone or why im here. And I said oh yes im here for my pick up order. Then she tells me that my order has been ready 10 mins ago that she came out on this side of the restaurant looking for me and couldn't find me and that she made my order 10 minutes ago, then progressively more rude, she tells me that this is where you pick up for curb side and that I need to park to get curb side. At this point I had pulled up to get there attention because I was lost and obviously was the only one there and knew very well how curb side worked. She turned on her heel and yelled back to me that I can come in to get my order. After her rant I was furious she would go off on a customer like that. And I yelled back with all the politeness I had in me "can u please bring me my food " ... you know because I ordered curb side and you know I was by the curb waiting. She then got my food and gave it to me. I said thank u and left.
I'm a server and I would not go off on a customer and tell them they can come in to get their food when they were not busy.
I didnt even get two words in to tell her I was waiting the whole time in the wrong area ... first time here and thats the thanks I get.
Yeah the food would have been warm ... it was cold and gross.
Also they don't pick up when you call them... would have saved alot of time if they would have answered when I tried to call asking where to pick up from. 0...
