Teriyaki Time — Restaurant in Tukwila

Stopped by here for lunch with my sister. Nice light music, and great service. I ordered the chicken teriyaki lunch special, and it arrived at my table quite quickly from when I ordered which was pretty awesome.

Food looked great when it arrived at our table, it was quite beautifully arranged. The gyoza was freshly fried and crispy, and the grilled chicken moist. The salad was lack luster even for a teriyaki spot, and the short grain white rice completely fell apart when the slightest hint of teriyaki sauce grazed it. Not to mention that the teriyaki sauce was more salty than sweet and thin like soy sauce. The teriyaki sauce would have been better used as a glaze rather than a sauce.

All in all it wasn’t terrible, it was decent. Probably would go back though. Especially when there are literally like 5 other teriyaki options to choose from in the area that are...

I came here a few times and every time the customer service is horrible the guy it’s OK not excellent but the lady is very horrible rude I truly think she’s racist. She’s all happy and as soon as a color customer comes in her whole attitude just changes anyways I ordered my food told him it was a dine in. She bring my food in a box. I told her I’m eating here I opened up the box two seconds later here she comes with the Windex start spraying the table. Teriyaki Time was clean and had plenty of seating room when we arrived. (Lots of parking too. Pretty nice for a sunny Saturday, and so close to the mall.) We ordered chicken katsu + teriyaki chicken (breast, not thighs.) I don’t typically like the sauce with katsu, but they had 4 options for a sauce (traditional, peanut, spicy mayo, or wasabi.) I love the options! The breasts in the chicken teriyaki was flavorful and moist, I didn’t miss thighs, I didn’t have 1 fatty piece. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly.
