Wendy's — Restaurant in Tusayan

I just left this location after a trip to the Grand Canyon. I ordered a large french fry, a medium Sprite, and a junior cheeseburger deluxe which totaled around $10. When we pulled up to the window to pay, the cashier told us our total which was a little more than $10. We drove off on our way back to Flagstaff and just upon chance I picked up the receipt and looked at it. Then I realized I had been charged for three combo meals totaling $40.53. As soon as I realized this, I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and ask for a refund as this is $30 more than what I should have been charged. Taylor answered the phone and when I told her what was going on she was unapologetic and told me there is nothing she can do about it unless I turn around drive an hour round trip to go back to that location. When I realized I was getting nowhere with her I asked to speak with a manager to which she told me that she is the manager. I do not understand how someone who has clearly so little customer service ability gets promoted to a manager position. She tried to tell me that things are expensive at this location because it is the Grand Canyon - no this order is expensive because I was charged for someone else's order. Not even an apology until I brought up the fact that she didn't seem apologetic at all. I have contacted the company via email but I do think you should know that there are obviously very careless workers in this establishment. I advise you go...

Disappointing Experience

Our visit to this Wendy's was frustrating. I ordered the Spicy Ghost Pepper Combo, but the cashier didn’t know what it was and had to check the menu board. I asked for a large combo, my wife ordered a kids meal with a soft drink, and I added a small Frosty. I wanted the berry Frosty advertised at the register, but the cashier said it was unavailable, as was the salted caramel Frosty advertised outside. I had to settle for chocolate.

When our order came, the kids meal's drink was missing because it was incorrectly rung up with a Frosty. They gave us the drink for free but forgot the ranch for the nuggets. We also discovered we were charged for an extra Ghost Pepper Sandwich and had to request a refund, which was only available in cash, not back to our card. On top of that, there were no kids toys for the meal, which we weren’t informed of, and multiple drinks were unavailable at the dispenser.

This experience was riddled with errors, poor communication, and false advertising. Staff was polite, but the overall service was...

0 stars but won't let me rate any lower 28 minutes to order two salads, and another 6 to actually have the manager and the kid grab them from the fridge and give them to me.8 customers in front of us. I noticed that every order in front of us was wrong because every one was bringing their burgers back.

Terrible order system for a location with lots of buses arriving. Take your name and then shout it out ten minutes later when it's ready. Many customers seemed to forget that they ordered food because they were shouting "Kevin, Kevin!" And the guys name wasn't Kevin.

Air conditioner seems to be broken and it was actually hotter in the restaurant than it is outside in Arizona in July... plus, seemed like smoke from the fryer was making the air cloudy and smelled awful.

Didn't know to open a second till when a group of twenty unlucky people came in after us, much less when we were there waiting. This place is the antithesis of efficient and orderly fast food... stay away or hit up the McDonald's...
