5-Star Review for Eddie V’s Prime Seafood – Tysons Corner
My cousin and I had the most amazing Sunday evening at Eddie V’s in Tysons Corner, and I just have to share how incredible the entire experience was from start to finish!
From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth of the place—literally before we even stepped inside, an older couple saw us taking pictures and kindly offered to take one for us. That small gesture set the tone for what turned out to be a beautiful night.
We were seated and greeted by our server, Jayden, who truly made the evening unforgettable. Jayden’s customer service was hands down the best I’ve ever received at any restaurant. He was engaging, knowledgeable about the menu, and you could tell he took great pride in his job. From the very beginning, he asked if we were celebrating anything, and although we weren’t celebrating a specific occasion, we told him we were just honoring our sisterhood and spending quality time together. He smiled and promised to make the night special and he absolutely delivered.
Now, the food: • I had the 10 oz filet, which was cooked to perfection. • We shared the mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels sprouts both were flavorful and delicious. • My cousin had The Norwegian salmon deserves a special mention…oh my goodness. It was mouth-watering, tender, and full of flavor. You wouldn’t expect to rave about fish at a steakhouse, but do not sleep on that salmon! • We also tried the crab cake, which was good but didn’t quite hit the mark if you’re expecting traditional Maryland-style. It had excellent lump crab meat, but the texture was looser and a bit unexpected still tasty, just different. • The oysters were fresh and amazing, and after enjoying them, they brought out warm towels with lemon to clean our hands, which was such a nice touch.
We also ordered drinks— I had a Moscow Mule made with ginger Goslings beer, and while it could’ve been a bit stronger, it was very refreshing and well-balanced. My cousin had a cocktail with a beautiful diamond-shaped ice cube she said it wasn’t super strong but still really enjoyable.
To top off the night, even though we were stuffed, Jayden surprised us with a complimentary dessert sampler and champagne on the house. Talk about going above and beyond!
What made the night even more special was Jayden himself. A young West Indian man (possibly mixed), he radiated professionalism and hospitality with every interaction. He genuinely made the night. So much so, that when I return to Eddie V’s, I’ll absolutely be calling ahead to make sure he’s working. That’s how phenomenal his service was.
All in all, the vibe was classy, the service top-tier, and the food absolutely delicious. If you’re going to Eddie V’s in Tysons ask for Jayden. You...

Our family's experience at your establishment Saturday 9Dec2023 at 240pm wasn't the best it could've been since my last visit months ago when it was overly packed. There was barely anyone in the establishment on 9Dec23. Our server Melanie was awesome & very attentive.
We were sitting their for 40mins to receive appetizers & over an hour for our entrees.
We noticed that a caucasian male (Eric) walked around and spoke to select patrons. We found out Eric was a manager when my out of town family member asked to speak to a manager to cancel her entree.
My family asked Eric "why would entrees take so long to be brought out after the appetizer." Eric stated that the server input the appetizer 26mins ago & the entrees at a later time instead of together. Eric stated that because a "well done & medium rare" meat were ordered, it will take longer for those dishes. My family still asked "why was there a delay on inputting our order?" Eric looked behind himself, avoided eye contact & then repeated the same excuse which came across very dismissive to the question being asked. My one family member told Eric to cancel her order & then Eric hand delivered her order anyways. Then I was told my side would come out in a few more minutes. So au gratin potatoes take longer than my well done filet mignon?
Another manager came over (LeRone) & stated he heard of our displeasure with the long wait from the cooks & asked how could he make this right. I stated he can credit the entire bill after how Eric handled the slowness in the kitchen.
If Eric would've done his due diligence to see exactly why a non-packed 5 star restaurant was slow walking our 2nd drink all the way to our entrees & then took ownership of the staff on duty & offered a discount equivalent to our extended wait time, we would've been elated. With two of us being retired Air Force managers, we understand Eric not disclosing specifics behind the curtain but at least express your apologies & compensate for the kitchen's delay like manager Lerone accomplished.
I felt Eric not only needs training on how a suit should look on him in your establishment but he needs training on effective leadership skills.
After pondering everything that transpired, we were not pleased with the manager Eric & wanted to speak to him again after we were so pleased with manager LeRone. Eric refused to come back out. We sat there waiting on him & he literally stood us up for over an hour. We left out & vowed not to come back as long as he...
Read moreLet me tell you, Eddie V’s is everything you’ve heard and then some! From the excellent service to the superb food and enchanting ambiance, it’s the ultimate restaurant experience for those of us wanting a grown and sexy night out.
My boyfriend took me for a surprise date last Friday, and it was my first time experiencing the magic of Eddie V’s. We were warmly welcomed by three stunning hostesses who led us to the most picturesque window table. Imagine enjoying a delicious meal while taking in stunning views!
Our amazing waitress, Catherine, greeted us with a rose and decorated our table with beautiful rose petals - it was absolutely heart-melting! She was nothing short of fantastic, introducing us to her favorite dishes and answering all of our questions with enthusiasm and knowledge.
We kicked off our evening with a delectable warm goat cheese salad and a creamy lobster bisque. I’m telling you, the presentation of every dish and drink was a work of art in itself! For the main event, we dived into succulent lobster tails and the highly praised Hong Kong sea bass (a brilliant recommendation from Catherine), paired with fluffy mashed potatoes and sweet corn. The lobster practically melted in my mouth, while my boyfriend raved about the sea bass bursting with flavor on a delicate bed of spinach.
And can you believe we actually ordered dessert? We typically skip it, but the night had been so extraordinary that we couldn’t resist, especially when Catherine highly recommended the crème brûlée. It was the perfect finishing touch - rich and delightful!
But wait, the night was far from over! As we soaked in the ambiance, we found ourselves singing along to the live band in the lounge. When it was time to leave, we paused, contemplating whether to call it a night. Spoiler alert: we decided to stick around and let Eddie V’s continue weaving its magic!
My boyfriend even got to chat with the band’s talented pianist, A. D. Smith, who was a total delight. The lounge staff was just as attentive, and we couldn’t resist ordering another drink and some calamari while we enjoyed the music. It was the perfect nightcap to a truly unforgettable evening.
Trust me - you don’t want to miss out on the hype surrounding Eddie V’s. Whether it’s for a romantic date night, a birthday celebration, some solo time, or a festive gathering with friends, this place is utterly wonderful. You...
