Two-Star Review for this so-called pizzeria in Vail, Colorado As someone from Connecticut, near New York, I might be spoiled with high pizza standards, but my experience at [Restaurant Name] was quite disappointing. Firstly, the prices are steep, which might be expected in a vacation spot like Vail, but the quality and service didn't match up. The pizza itself was subpar and lacked the richness and flavor I look for. Additionally, the mozzarella sticks tasted like they came straight from the freezer, lacking any freshness. What really brought the rating down was the service. Our server never checked in to see if everything was okay or if we needed drink refills. This lack of attention made the dining experience feel even more overpriced and unwelcoming. Had the server been more attentive, I might have considered giving three stars, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Sauce is decent and I'd describe the crust and sauce as "OK". However for this price point ok isn't good enough imo. The real problem was over cooking the slices, if you are buying individual slices just skip this place. Advise for the owner if you read this: 1. Pizza for by the slice should not be fully cooked, it should be pulled out a tiny bit early around 75% done. Done enough it's fully held together, but the dough is still a bit soft. This allows for the cook time on single slices to actually finish cooking the slice instead of over cooking it. 2. You should use screens under even single slices. When I visited it was thrown right on the bottom of the oven and screens were only used for full pies. What I ended up with was a slice so over done it cracked like well a cracker and was visibly burnt in areas as well.

🤢🤮👎Our server Aleksandra was nice but very inattentive. Our visit started with her bringing us water and asking what we wanted to eat without ever taking our drink order. We ordered garlic cheese toast as an appetizer which she seems to have brought to another table because she was so distracted. Our water never got refilled the entire meal even when she kept walking by to refill her other tables drinks “the table she gave out appetizer to”. She then was so distracted sitting at the bar talking with another employee that our food sat in the window for a long period of time before she finally saw us looking that way before finally noticed our food was waiting. The food was good but the service was not acceptable. I also was grossed out by the condiments on the table (see pic).

Came in at 2:15 PM. Got seated, and waited for the server to come in. It took a long while. We have a toddler with us, and they were slowly getting upset. We put in our order, and waited. At 2:55 PM we asked how long until the food is ready. The hostess looked for the server, couldn't find them, then they came to us and asked what our order was... They never took down our order... We asked them what happened, to which they stated they never put it through and it was their fault, then they went away. The manager gave us pasta for the toddler, and we left. The server seemed drunk. I'm not sure how this restaurant is operating, but it wasn't just our table that was waiting.

Pazzo’s Pizzeria in Vail is a delightful stop for anyone looking to refuel after hitting the slopes. The pizza here is simply delicious, and the service adds to the overall pleasant experience. The waitress was notably friendly, efficient, and made sure our visit was enjoyable. What stood out was the quality of the food - it was SUPER good. Additionally, the pizzeria's location is a big plus; it's conveniently situated in Vail Village. It has a great ambiance and I would definitely recommend Pazzo’s Pizzeria to anyone in the area that is looking for a delicious pizza. I look forward to my next visit.

Thin crust pizza was sooooo good, be sure to dine in so that you get to enjoy the hot melty cheese and super crispy crust. Pizza was a 10/10, everything else was below average. Caesar salad had fresh ingredients but the croutons were too hard, sauce was watery too. Spaghetti bolognese - tomato sauce felt like it was diluted out of a can, rather bland tasting and just a dollop of it on top of cooked spaghetti. The spaghetti was also steaming hot which we felt it could likely have been microwaved. Would still go back but definitely only ordering the pizza.
