Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Vineland

By far the worst experience I've ever had at this location. It started from the moment we walked in, the place was empty so we figured there'd be no wait. There was a 15-20 mins wait, Hostess said they were understaffed. Ok understandable because of covid nobody wants to work. Sooo after waiting 20mins, we got seated, server came over took our drink order and app order. Came back to our dinner order, 35mins later we ask about our appetizer (he forgot to put in. So we waited another 15 mins for that. Then our meals came out 10mins after, my ribs were dry potatoes were cold. And I asked for BBQ sauce ots that they forgot (the ribs were so dry like they just put a little dab on each and spread it. After dinner my server asked if we wanted bags, and my son says " oh it's my mom's birthday" and all the server said was "oh happy birthday, I'll brb with ur bags and check" not once did he check on us, and ask how the food was or anything. They had tables there were dirty even we walked in and we're still dirty even we walked out. The hostess just stood there and didn't even bother cleaning the tables it offering any help. The manager didn't go up to any of the tables, to apologize for anything. There was a couple who came in after us went to the bar and ate their dinner and left before us. I understand it's covid and your shorthanded, but all hands should've been on deck, all managers and servers, hostesses, bartenders, bussers, and expediters should've been called in to help run the restaurant. I used to go-to this Applebee's every weekend when I was younger and the service was great, it has certainly fallen apart. Rather it's covid or not, I've been to other restaurant's (worked in and dined in) during covid and they were run so much smoothly. Management seriously needs to reevaluate themselves and...

Great family restaurant with a kiddie menu and all the entree’s are delicious. I don’t like alcohol but my friend’s and family do and according to them they make one hell of a cocktail. Please drink responsibly and that pretty much means be mindful enough to arrange ahead of time at least a day or two for a designated driver who is either a friend or family member to get you home safe. Here are other example’s of designated drivers for the more impulsive drinkers who didn’t plan ahead… THERE’S Uber Driver’s Taxi Driver’s etc… PLEASE THINK FIRST BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR HAND’S ON THAT WHEEL AND WHILE YOU’RE THINKING DON’T THINK FOR A SECOND THAT IT CAN’T OR WON’T HAPPEN TO YOU. IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE. That kind of thinking is dangerously stupid. Plan ahead for that kind of stuff seriously. I’m not going to apologize either for coming down so hard on drinker’s especially the younger adults of legal age y’all scare me the most and I worry about y’all the most. When tragic or even fatal accidents happen that could have been avoided hits home you will understand and appreciate this message. Take this information seriously. It just might save a life and it could be your own. You owe it to yourself and the people around you to be responsible for your own actions. Search conscientiousness so that you can learn to become more aware and make wiser decisions. It will teach you the value of being more self disciplined.

Almost forgot: If you appreciate an excellent server ask the hostess to seat you at Danielle Longo’s section. She’s an awesome and friendly person who would be happy to serve you. Now go and Enjoy… 😊

Waitress was great but food was foul...waited about 40 mins for food the only thing fresh where the French fries which is what they said we where waiting so long for for fresh fries. All vegetables tasted pre frozen and never cooked all the way burgers had the same frozen taste and where room temperature at best and not cooked to specified request (well done) centers where bright pink. The steaks where literally white no blood left (meaning boiled or defrosted over hot water in a bag)in them nor a sear on the outside and tasted boiled. All the food was cold even the kids damn corndog..and it was really annoying after a long day out with family to pay $130 for cold undercooked food that no one ate literally left and when to mcdonalds honestly disgusting and I will not be back...I've been a customer here since this specific resutrant opened and I can tell you I am no longer a customer Here this is the 3rd time this has happened and rather spend my money at a local deli than keep wasting money here poor food poor managent and poor cooks. And it seemed to be a theme with everyone their that night as the manager went up to atleast 6 tables in my area using the same line to apologize for everyone's poor food that we all tables could here truly...
