Fox Bros B-B-Q — Restaurant in Vinings

Me and a friend went to Fox Bros fir the very first time today and it was an AWFUL experience n they were not busy. So we sat at the bar. Jasmine was one of the of bartenders, she was helping a guest she came to the end of the bar look at us said nothing went back came back n still said nothing. Finally Nate came our way n said nothing we ask can we sit here oh yes sure no problem he said he dropped 2 coasters n left here come jasmine asked have we been helped we said no n she pucked up the coasters n still didn't ask us if we wanted drinks or anything n she just left us there. Finally Nate came back git our drink order told him we wanted food to go but apps for here. Few minutes later he came back to take our order i placed mines n then all if a sudden he just left in the middle of the order to help ppl rite on the side of us (rude & disrespectful.) We had to say we're not done ordering finally got our complete order then here comes the foid runner with our 1 of our apps but we order 2 n 1 of our meals which was suppose to be to but at the end of the day there was 2 meals to go n 2 apps for here. All of meals came out separate n 1 app came out wrong. At the end of the day there was no Acknowledgment of us, No bar touch No introducement of their names n our bill was $90. Plus Jasmine asked a customer to open a bottle of Patron but yet aren't we still in CORONA? Nate couldn't open a bottle of Crown Apple for us n i offered my bottle opener/Wine key ( can you tell im a bartender/Server) so i deal with this every day. Give GREAT SERVICE especially that Resturants are really thriving n we have to make as much as we can while we can. Big DISAPPOINTMENT for us...

I am a big fan of Fox Bros BBQ in general but I was a little skeptical when I heard about this location located within Terrapin Brewery at the Battery. Would this truly be a Fox Bros or is it a place the serves Fox Bros. I would say after visiting that it is more the later. Now that might not be a problem if you are looking for a brew-pub/sports bar and want to have some BBQ on the side, but for the BBQ purist this might not hit home for you.

There is indeed Fox Bros food here, along with other more traditional brew pub fare. It’s a more limited menu than you would find at the main Fox Bros location and as you might suspect from its Battery location, you’ll pay a premium price to get it here. Most of the offerings were between $1 and $5 higher than at the Fox Bros Westside location. (A 2 meat combo at Westside is $22 whereas it is $27 here at the time of this writing, although pulled pork was only $1 more.)

My bigger concern was that the meat was pretty dry and you don’t get the smell of the smokehouse here.

The wings on the other hand were really good and the sides tasted pretty much like they do at the original.

Overall it’s good to know that there is BBQ at the Battery, but it’s also good to have the original locations not...

Went there last night. Wasn’t bad. Wasn’t great enough for me to want to come back. I think I need to go to the original location. Because i hear it’s so much better!

At the Cumberland location it took about 40mins from my butt to hit the seat to us getting the check.

I respect the prompt service but the waitress seemed like she could care less about being there. They were out of every drink I tried to order so I asked for a menu fully planning on picking something else out. She never came back to get my drink order. we felt incredibly rushed. We barely touched our appetizer before my salad and meal came out at the same time. This brings me to the food. The brisket was not great. The ribs were pretty good.

All in all it wasn’t awful especially if you’re in a hurry, but we just wanted a chill dinner and sit and enjoy and it was very rushed and the food wasn’t great. U took most of it to go and ate it...
