Albie's Pizza & Bar — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

My friends and I hadof the worst experiences in this place.To begin with we waited for about 15-20 minutes for the waitress to actually notice us in the tables upfront ......she clearly saw us but chose rather to ignore us.We at one point thought the place was going to close b/c noone took care of us.She finally had decided to come over to the table and greet us she asked what we wanted to drink we all said water and she told us that we had to pay for a bottled water cause they dont serve free glasses of water (seriously?),we went along with it our friend wanted to go the restroom so she told us she wanted the philly steak salad not the sub salad.When the waitress came back she got our orders and we told her our friend would like the steak salad and the other two of us a pizza.......meanwhile when the food was ready she brought us a steak sub we notified her immediately that it was not what we had order she proceeded storming in the restaurant and brought her manager who not only almost threatened us but talked to us so rudely and insisted that it was our mistake and that waitress would have to pay for it if we didnt own up to "our mistake"(which is a steak salad)....to what continued was that food was awful, cold and tasteless and not worth at all to the price stated on the the menu(wayyy overpriced for no quality pr service)at the end of the dinner we got our checks back and noticed we were automatically charged for that awful service.We will ofcourse never be...

Definitely would not recommend!

Ordered a steak and cheese and it had an almost sour taste to it like the meat was spoiled. Since it was processed steak meat, I'm not sure how! I couldn't even eat half of it! One of our party made the comment that they believed our waitress was intoxicated....she took almost 10 minutes getting our drinks, 5 more minutes putting in our order. Husband got the chicken parm sub and the chicken was overcooked. Waitress went to get drink refills and never brought them back!

When we were ready, we asked for the check and we eventually had to go find her for it. When she took our card back to run for the total, we had to go looking for her again....all of the waitresses were standing around the cook station talking and laughing with the cooks. When she gave us the book with our ticket, our debit card was not inside. She said that she gave it back to us...we found it on the floor inside the restaurant!!! We were seated OUTSIDE! Definitely our first and LAST time eating at this...

The pizza was good but not worth the price. I somehow paid a little shy of double the price of my coupon. $45 for a pizza and 2 bottles of water. The coupon allowed for 4 drinks but there were 6 of us. The other 2 ordered water for $3 each. Getting a seat was nearly impossible because the waitress wanted us to wait for a party of 10 to leave if we wanted to sit outside. The patio was nearly empty besides that party but she wouldn't put any other tables together for us. While thinking we wanted to eat on patio and waiting we were asked to stand on the sidewalk until the party left. So... We opted for the inside. We were charged 18% gratuity for a bad seat and not so great service. When you get 18% of the bill why be outgoing though. I get it. I guess that's how you pay $45 using a $25 coupon. Won't be...
