I had been waiting for this place to open up, and so when my husband and I had decided on going we were very excited. When we first walked in we were greeted right away by the hostess, she was very nice and let us choose our seats. Then our server came to our table and was very knowledgeable about the self serve beer system and got us started on trying out some of the taps available. She poured the first beer which turned out fine, but when we tried it said the keg was empty. She had to then change the keg which proceeded to pour out at least 3 glasses of foam before we could get to the actual beer. Then when we wanted to try other beers, the system continued to fail and we continued to struggle just to get a glass of beer. Then it came to food. We asked if we could sub one of the cheeses on the pint burger to Havarti. The server profusely apologized and said that the chef was unable to do so because that’s not how it was written on the menu. Then after 35 mins our server came back to apologize about the wait and when she went back to ask the chef, I could hear yelling. I have worked in the food industry before and I have never been to/worked somewhere where the chef was so unprofessional as to yell so loudly that customers could hear. Then a young manager lady came to us and was very sweet to offer us a beer flight to ease us, because we were ready to walk out. Our server, a blonde woman, did not explain anything about dispensing the beers. As I was pouring, Two dispensers opened up, malfunctioning. I called for assistance and we were already charge $20, we haven’t even got a beer. The waitress said she cant do anything but will speak with the manager. She then came back and told us “YOU GUYS CAN LEAVE, ITS ON US. YOU ARE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE BILL. I was like EXCUSEEE MEE! We were in awe, and very shocked. The guy seating beside us a black guy was given a complimentary beer bec he was having the same issue, While us, Asians was treated badly. Just because we speak nicely, and the other guy was aggressive you will then treat us differently? We are not asking for a complimentary beer, I just want you to know the machine has a problem. And you should fix it. Later on we spoke with the manager, an old white guy, very rude. And accusing us holding two dispensers at a time???? Are you crazy? After leaving we got charge $29 for the calamari.. $29???? For a food that was never served.I travel for work and been around the world but never have i ever been disrespected and traumatized like that before. Read moreMe and a friend of mine visited Atlantic pints this past Sunday. When we sat down we noticed how extremely hot it was inside of the building. It was 95 degrees outside and every bit of that inside. It made our dining experience all that much more disappointing. After ordering our food we waited for almost 30 minutes until it arrived. That's when things took a turn for the worse. Our server, who was very good at his job, informed us that the owner would not allow us to substitute swiss cheese instead of cheddar on our cheeseburger. I really dislike cheddar cheese, and could not understand why I could not substituted for Swiss. Our server informed us that the owner doesn't like changes made to his menu and we were not allowed to substitute anything on our meal. I understand that this restaurant just opened a few months ago. With the owner having this type of attitude I doubt this restaurant will be opened past the 2020 calendar year. Since they just opened, they should be impressing their customers and not disappointing them. It is for that reason that I will never return, and I will tell all of my friends to never dine at this establishment. So to recap the service is excellent the food is mediocre, and the owner has no regard for the people who are keeping his doors open. Good luck to you Atlantic pints, you will have to close your doors permanently in a very short amount of time!
