We truly had an incredible experience on our first visit. The store is laid out very well. It was very clean and inviting. The person working was super sweet. She greeted us when we arrived as we poked around looking at the random items that were not candy. We did pick up a few things, but we came in to check out the salt water taffy. This taffy is absolutely mouthwatering. It was very soft and bursts with flavor immediately when you start chewing. They did offer us the ability to try out other flavors, but we just came in for sour. All of the sour taffy sours were really tasty. We picked the sour mix and the extreme Fusion. We tried the lemon which tasted just like biting into a lemon, but we stuck with the other two since they were a little more sour. We will definitely return. We got a pound of taffy and it was well worth it. If you are visiting or our local, definitely stop by. You will not be disappointed....

I received a box of salt water taffy from New Hampshire as a gift recently. I opened it to find a mixture of mostly blue, orange and green taffy with a couple other colors mixed in. I say “colors” because they all had the exact same bland flavor- which was sweet and sugary but without any distinctly identifying taste to differentiate them. I feel bad complaining because they were free to me, but someone paid nine dollars for less than a pound of taffy (14 ounces to be exact). The fact that there was no company name on the box was odd, but after reading the fine print I found it listed - twice, just like the New Hampshires state motto. I have had lots of taffy in my day and this was by far the worst. Please try to improve your product with flavors such as Mint, lime, chocolate, strawberry, licorice etc and maybe have your boxes manufactured in America by someone who can proofread before...

This is a shop my mom always makes us stop in when she's in town for a visit and we're at the oceanfront.

In addition to taffy and other types of sweets and gummy treats, they have a fully-stocked, fresh fudge counter with about a dozen or so flavors that you can sample and purchase fresh fudge to take home with you.

That's the star of the show for my mom, she always tastes and buys a box or two of fudge to enjoy. She has a serious sweet tooth.

The inside also has a wide variety of beach-themed decorative home decor, some is pretty cute and a bit different from what you'll find at the Sunsations beach stores. These are more decor for your home with a few small souvenir trinkets mixed in.

Staff are always friendly and happy to let you sample the fudge. I enjoy browsing for lamps and wall decor while my mom makes her choices.
