Bill for one person $20, 2 cheese enchiladas, guacamole and a drink. The $5 guacamole was that sour cream mixed with avocado that is more of an avocado paste than a pure guacamole. The enchilada sauce was bland and unremarkable. Their card machine was broken so I had to pay $3 to use their ATM (how often does it go down?). The service was efficient and fast, not overly friendly, just so-so. There was one other table occupied and they sat me right next to them rather than socially distancing us (during covid we are weary about going to eat for exactly this situation). They were disregarding a basic way to stop the spread of this illness, simply spacing people out. I understand when it's busy how it might not be possible, but in an empty restaurant you can seat people apart and do your part, slowly filling in the space between as needed. If you're asking why I didn't ask to be moved, It was because I didn't want to be rude to the table next to me (making them think they were the problem, so it put me in awkward situation). I did like that the place is open until 11pm so hotel guests can eat after most places are closed down. In a pinch, it is acceptable food, but overall I regretted spending my money here and won't return next time I'm in the area.

I wish I would have made note of her name because she was an incredible waitress. After a long day at the beach we stopped by for a late lunch. I’m vegetarian and sometimes find it incredibly hard to find food catered to my dietary needs. I was about five seconds from settling for a cheese quesadilla when the waitress told me of their vegetarian fajitas. I was skeptical at first but was not disappointed as my plate arrived covered in steam. The drinks were amazing too! We had a large Tropical Rita and boy was I in heaven! I left fuller than a tick on a dog. Their prices are fair and their service is speedy. Anytime I’m in the area I will definitely be making a stop in.

This was my first time coming to Side Street Cantina. I saw online that it had amazing reviews and the place is in a good location close to the beach! They had a beautiful interior, very inviting and great service. Everyone is super friendly which is a plus! But I’ve definitely had better tacos for a better price. The tortilla wasn’t warmed or anything I’m not sure but it was pretty pale, lots of onions which isn’t the worst but heavy amount. The pastor and asada tacos were good but it was missing a kick to make it stand out. We had their tropical margarita and a traditional, very strong(we ended up returning one) but the traditional was good.

I'm "Angry"!! I just bought 35 dollars worth of take out.. I have the receipt showing what I bought.. I ordered a side of rice, beans, guacamole, seafood ceviche and some condiments, what I call normal items that usually come with a meal/ AKA butter, cilantro, onions and some tortillas. I was charged for every single item in the bag, butter. 25, cilantro 1.00, onions 1.99, "really"? I get in my vehicle and go to my hotel, I get out and notice my seat is wet, mind you I drove literally across the street, I go inside the hotel and set the bag down so I can get back to my car quickly to clean the seat, of all things it's the ceviche and has leaked everywhere.. I go back in to see what happened, the bag is up right, as I dig to the bottom I find the ceviche is on bottom and has been put into a tin pan with a cardboard lid that's half way closed, she stacked everything on top and crushed the pan lid causing it to leak everywhere.. I call and ask for the manager, he says I'm the manager what can I do for you "Maine" yes Maine as in scarface main, I ask again for the manager, again what can I do for you "Maine", OK I can tell I about to get nowhere, I explain the issue, he says " so what do you want Maine, I'm starting to get really Ticked off, he says hang on and puts the phone down, I hear him talking to the waitress that packed it, I hear her saying how could it leak I put it on the bottom, well you dummy that's exactly how, you crushed the thing causing the leak, then I hear her say he's a dam liar, really, he comes back and all he says is, what can I do for you Maine! I can't put what I said to him but I can tell the truth about what they did to me, irresponsible unprofessional and over charging for condiments that should be free! It's extremely rare I even come close to a bad review on Google and I do a lot of them, this restaurant has gotten my first nasty review, well...

I’m not sure of what the staff’s issues were this day (or maybe it’s like this all the time) but the guy that was at the entrance was VERY unwelcoming. There was only one table of customers (two people) there at the time. So, there shouldn’t have been any issues seating my family. As soon as my husband and son entered, the guy at the entrance completely ignored their presence as he was close enough to easily greet and service them. My husband grabbed two menus that were on the front stand and he asked the staff member, that was ignoring them, if he had another menu we could see (I was on my way to meet them inside). The guy rudely said “I will get you one in a minute” (strike one). Then my husband asked if they could be seated and the guy said “you can sit wherever you want” rudely again as if he was irritated by having customers (strike two). But my husband and son went to sit down anyway. I finally get inside and once I sat down, the guy quickly walked by our table to tend to the other table without acknowledging us and my husband asks “hey, sir. can we get that other menu please?” Then the guy says “I said in a minute” (the final strike). My husband responds and says “man, I don’t like your attitude with how you’re handling us”. Then the guy proceeded to apologize and say that there must be a misunderstanding because he didn’t mean it in that way. That’s when I said “let’s go!!” I refuse to give people our money when we are treated like this. I have a hard time believing that we are the only customers that have been treated this way at this establishment. So, we will NEVER go...

Myself, my fiance and our best friend were looking for a decent place to eat this Sunday. After checking online and seeing a positive rating for Side Street, we decided to try it. We arrived just a little after 5 pm. Several people at the bar, only two groups seated in the dining area. No one at the host's stand. After standing around awkwardly for several minutes, we decided to seat ourselves thinking maybe that was the protocol on Sundays. The waitstaff didn't come by with menus, instead they remained seated by the back wall in plain sight chatting and checking their cell phones. We had to get our own menus from the host's stand. Finally, an unapologetic waiter came by and took our drink and meal orders. He sauntered off slowly to put them in. They paid little attention to our table nor did they ask if we needed anything, including refills. The food was decent and came out in a more timely manner which temporarily distracted us from the bad service. After finishing, we waited for our check. Our waiter cruised around the restaurant, ate a lemon (...yep.), and stood out front with another employee chatting/smoking. We had to wave him down to let him know we were done. We paid and left displeased enough to write a review to warn others. If you enjoy being taken care of by a friendly waitstaff when you go out for a bite,...
