mind you, we arrived around 4:00pm well before it was busy…
but okay eh so this is minor and maybe karen but my partner & i came with another couple who both men are well above 6’0”, mine being 6’5”, she has a terminal illness, and i’m 8 months pregnant so getting sat at the table as small and wiry as they are was a bit disappointing.
so we asked if we could sit at a booth and while she did say yes, she pointed to the booth we were allowed to move to (section wise i totally get that i’ve waitressed too but why point when you’re supposed to walk us), had the menus/silverware in a stack sat down at the table she originally had us at, and walked away.
15/20 minutes later she comes back to take only our drink order. another 15/20 minutes later she brings out 2 tropical drinks when the guys ordered 2 strawberries and leaves. another 15/20 minutes later; still without rolls, they ask for different drinks (not replacing but in addition because it’d been so long they finished them anyways) and rolls being as hungry as we all were. another 15/20 minutes later a manager comes to tell my partner the machine for his is broken so he orders a regular lemonade.
now keep in mind every in-between takes a continuing 15 to 20 minutes. ei comma.
okay so drinks & rolls came at some point, she takes our food order, and when she brings the food everyone has something wrong with each of their items. primarily being cold or uncooked we debate if it’s safe to eat.
personally, being pregnant i asked if i could have the burger (that comes with fries) well done with an EXTRA side of broccoli. my partner pointing out it has to be cooked all the way through (well done) for baby. i get my burger and it’s raw… my partner notices, points out too that i didn’t get my fries, and my broccoli wasn’t steaming so he touches it and sure enough it’s cold.
and like i said everyone had something wrong with each of their items too but i was the only one missing something so when she came back he asked for my fries to-go which when they came they were cold, served on a plate, and the to-go box on the side…
after that it felt as if we didn’t see her for another hour so we joked this would be the one place we’d ever dine & dash, it just felt as if she wasn’t coming back but agreed we wouldn’t be tipping the standard 20% and brought up how his brother, my brother-in-law had a similar experience recently. him also not leaving the standard 20% when he’s someone that usually leaves a minimum of 50% for poor service but then having a statement come through that the waitress wrote in a higher tip we warned them to write the tip in a way that couldn’t be manipulated so thankfully they wrote cash & left it that way but unfortunately my partner still wrote in a tip regardless of our advice.
well thankfully & unfortunately comes from the fact we went to dinner with his brother, my brother-in-law tonight only to find out it was literally this same location lol so yeah we’re all in agreement that a reviews needed if it’s not just a “bad day” but genuinely the type of service this location provides to it’s customers all having a...
Read moreThis is THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD!! I’ve worked as a front of house manager, server, and bartender and I would NEVER allow a server to give such HORRIBLE service! It took over an hour to get silverware and plates, no refills, no salads! Server doesn’t apologize or do ANYTHING!! I am not someone who doesn’t tip I always tip over 20 percent but this server will get NOTHING FROM ME JUST LIKE SHE GAVE US!! We had kids spill pop and we couldn’t get napkins!! My mother asked for an appitizer and while she was asking everyone else if they wanted an appetizer the server just walked away! We never got bread the hostess finally brought us bread after an hour and a half of being there. We still had no plates or silverware but there were a stack of little takeout boxes on the ledge by us so I gave them to everyone who wanted bread. We never got our appetizer or salads. After over 2 hours they came out with the food which was all cold. My son’s steak tips wear charred, burnt, hard, and cold. We asked numerous times for my grandbabies to get their food before ours because they are only 2 and 3 and had been waiting FOREVER they were hungry! We had : people besides the server say they could get the kids food out early, but the server just said no it will come out with the rest of the food. My steak was overcooked and cold I ordered it med well. My aunts was made med well almost well but she ordered it med rare. My granddaughters cheeseburger was a cold roll cut partially through the center with a piece of charred burger in it with no cheese and it was cold. I didn’t get the potato skins I ordered my sons girlfriend didn’t get her food. It was HORRIBLE!!! I’ve bartended, served tables and checked on guests through a full restaurant so I don’t understand how u can give that horrible of service! I spoke to the manager who just acted like this is a regular thing here. So OBVIOUSLY this place needs new management and new staff. It should be closed down immediately to start over with new staff and management! Just saying! Wish I would’ve read all the horrible reviews from the past month, then it would’ve been obvious that we should NEVER GO HERE!! I would NEVER GO BACK!! U couldn’t pay me to waste my time sitting in a place like this for such horrible food and service!! If you’re thinking of going to eat here DON’T!! Take the drive and go to Texas Roadhouse!! U will get better food, service, and you will still get your food earlier even with driving further than u...
Read moreIt’s hard to sum up our visit, service was inappropriate and slow, the restaurant was NOT busy. Our server asked the guest next to me at our table if he minded if my potato was put on his dirty plate he’d just finished eating off from while she reheated my steak??
⁃ We sat for 15 min or so with zero service, host said our server would be coming, she finally came, waited another 10-15 min or so just for waters and rolls which we ended up asking the host for. ⁃ Our server did not introduce herself, her greeting was “They just gave me 3 tables.” We never learned her name, Kadijah, until we saw it on our receipt. ⁃ Visited the host 3 times to ask for the football game to be turned on, no resolution. At the end of our meal another table got the game turned on and were cheering when someone came to turn it on, so clearly was high demand ⁃ Whenever our server came she auctioned our drinks and food off at one side of the table. My family member received a 22oz beer instead of 16oz, was charged for the 22oz ⁃ Server barely stopped by and when she did, she didn’t clear anything off the table (the empty roll basket when dropping off second basket of rolls, empty cups when finally bringing drink refills, appetizer plates etc when the meal came, none was picked up). Her nails were so long they were nearly in our food when she brought out food. ⁃ Food arrived and our server never came back to ask how the first bites were, steak was cold and I asked the host if I could get it reheated since our server was over sitting in a booth doing nothing while the person across from her rolled silverware. ⁃ The icing on the cake was when she asked if I wanted to keep my sweet potato while she reheated the steak; I said I don’t have anywhere to put it. She asked the guest next to me at our table if he minded if my sweet potato could go on his plate. The whole plate was DIRTY as he had just finished his country fried steak with gravy….
Typically we’d give the benefit of the doubt and assume she was having an off day but our service was so poor that we won’t be returning, and it was very clear there was no hustle or worry to provide quality service. If you were just given 3 tables and you’re trying to be attentive, there’d be clear hustle and guests would have patience but it was clear the entire section was experiencing this...
