The Garden is an amazing hidden gem event space! Jamie, the sales manager is absolutely fabulous. We hosted our 20 year high school reunion there last night (10/7) and from my initial inquiry email to the subsequent planning emails and on the night of our event she was incredibly helpful. She was friendly, engaging, enthusiastic and we couldn’t have had such a successful event without her. As an experienced wedding planner myself I know what qualities to look for in a venue and onsite support; I was constantly impressed. Jamie made the planning experience far more enjoyable than I could have hoped for! In addition, The Garden is such a special event space. With the indoor and outdoor spaces, all the market lighting 2 bars locations (and much more), The Garden is the perfect space for an intimate wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, milestone birthdays, reunions and anniversary parties! We went to Neon Velvet and there was a guy rubbing into us when we were dancing. What is worse is that he just stared me when he did it. He was obviously on some crazy drugs because he was also invading the performers personal space for a long time. He was there the whole night and when he wasn't people started to dance again, then he ran down the stairs - right in front of the bouncer - and pushed us away from the dance floor to reclaim his spot right in front of the female lead singer as if he was watching TV three feet away from the screen. He stood in front of the stage making it awkward for everyone and we had to leave because we didn't feel safe. The staff was alerted about this guy and they DID NOTHING. This venue does not care for the safely of their paying guests and I do not recommend this place as a venue that is safe for women because the bouncer is afraid of a guy harassing ticketgoers...

This special venue is a secret oasis in the middle of Walnut Creek. The Garden is a beautiful experience that was owned by Scott's Seafood when I had my wedding reception there 23 years ago. It was lovely back then and has been meticulously maintained by the new ownership, present day.

I have been to two events at the Garden this year. Once was a public Cheeseballs concert in March. SO MUCH FUN! A great crowd with a fun vibe. If you want an adult night out with fun music and dancing, this is your ticket!

The second was my parent's anniversary party in September. Jamie, the Event Director, made sure everything was perfect. She was a pleasure to work with and her organization and attention to detail is unparalleled. Food and service was excellent as well. The event was absolutely magical and there really is nothing like it anywhere else. I highly recommend...
