Came in to pick up an order as uber eats driver, walked over to end of bar no one at front. Guy came up asked if i was picking up for uber said yes told me to wait by front, waited like 7 minutes. Waitress came over asked for name, went to kitchen and never came back. After another 7 minutes noticed bag behind the bartender (front host guy could have handed it to me. He Already knew the name i was picking up for, literally making their own customers order late instead he just wandering around. Waited for a while now 15 minutes finally couldn’t wait anymore literally making me late and making the customer order late, bar had a few people eating. Waited till Bartender was done making drink, asked him if he could check if the name was the name i was picking up for and he rudely said “im working right now”. handing a bag over takes 2 seconds. Finally turned around and hands it to me. Overall Host guy avoided me, hes supposed to give me the order thats his job, waitress avoided me and disappeared, bartender with attitude. Strange place, staff dont seem like they want to do anything. Not cooperative and not attentive at all. Someone a week ago also left similar review about waiting in front for a while due to lack of attentive staff. Been doing this for a year never had this kind of experience at any restaurant. Maybe they figure it out, maybe they dont, who knows. Dont care, I just know i wont pick up from there again cause that was weird and unnecessarily long for such a...
Read moreSorry this review took so long for me to write! I’m from Singapore and visited this charming spot in December 2023, possibly January 2024 (it all blends together after a while). I randomly picked this place after enjoying a hot chocolate next door, and it turned out to be the best decision ever.
Sat at the bar.
First and foremost, the service was exceptional. Our server (forgive me for forgetting his name, but he was fantastic) was incredibly attentive and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. We decided to take his recommendations, and I’m so glad we did. He engaged us in great conversation and clearly knew his stuff—when he said all the food was amazing, he truly meant it. My appetite sparked into life the moment the dishes started arriving!
The portions were just right—not overwhelming, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling stuffed. Speaking of bites, the food was delectable! Each dish was well-prepared and bursting with authentic flavors that showcased the cuisine beautifully.
The ambiance of the restaurant also added to the experience. The music was perfectly curated (sorry not Italian music), creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us want to linger longer.
If you find yourself in the area, don’t miss out on this gem! I can’t wait to return whenever i...
Read moreLet me first say that the service was very good, the mangolina drink was tasty, and the restaurant’s atmosphere and decor was very nice. However, the food wasn’t tasty. I ordered a shrimp and scallop pasta and within the first bite, I realized that my meal tasted like dish soap or some sort of cleanser. My food was also very unseasoned. My friend and I had to add salt and pepper to our pastas several times and it was still fairly bland. My pasta was also very over-cooked. We ordered garlic bread as an appetizer, which was a bit burnt and didn’t have much garlic or butter on it. It was like eating plain, burnt toast dipped in oil. I think it’s also worth noting that a 20% tip was automatically added to each of our individual bills. I intended on tipping well anyways because the service was good despite how poor the food was, but I didn’t tip anything additional since the restaurant basically made the decision for you. I’m not a fan of that. The reviews of this restaurant looked good, which is why I visited. But I was disappointed in my overall experience. Unfortunately, I won’t return nor would I recommend this...
