i ordered at the drive through earlier today and when i did my husband ordered my croissant first. then i leaned over and and started to order my coffee. she said she couldn’t hear me so i leaned over him and put my head through the window to order. my order was just kind of complicated so it’s just easier for me to ask for it than him. she asked if the driver could order and i said i am currently leaned over him and putting my head through the window just kind of laughing at the situation. she got after me and said she needed the driver to order because she couldn’t hear me. i tried to say i was going to let the big truck pass so she could hear me and i did and ordered. then she hurried us along and i was still confused. i tried to wait for traffic and just trying to be light hearted about the situation but when i pulled up to the window i leaned over again and was putting my phone out the window to have her scan it and tell her sorry that she couldn’t hear me but she got upset that i was trying to hand her my phone. she wouldn’t reach her arm out with the scanner, like i still had my arm out the window. and she made my husband take the phone and bring it all the way to her. i don’t know, i’ve worked in fast food and i’ve leaned all the way out the window just to grab someone’s change they dropped. didn’t even get the chance to explain what happened at the screen to order because she was just mad that i ordered and not the driver. i’ve had other workers explain to me kindly that they were waiting for traffic to pass so they could hear me, no biggie. no idea why this employee was so mad and in such...
Read moreWe had some issues in the drive thru. I understand it can be super frustrating when people come through with larger orders… I worked in the service industry for years. I totally get it.
We were on the last day of our 10 day road trip with four children under 12 and wanted to stop and grab drinks. We let the barista know it would be a larger order and asked to split orders if it was possible. We were told it was but then cut off and told only two orders in the drive thru, we had three. That’s fine, again, we get it.
The price of everything has skyrocketed in recent years and we know this as well. However, when we’re charged for something like extra caramel, you expect to get it. Had I been alone, I would have just grabbed it and left but my sister did ask for the caramel we paid for.
It was very obvious the barista taking the order was frustrated we were “taking too long,” which I think was a little unfair as there was only one car behind us and we were relatively slow. After we asked for the drink to be made correctly and thanked the barista, we got no response from them. It just appeared very rude. I have stopped here before and didn’t have the same experience but this one was a little bit of a turn off. For the price of the product you’d expect that there’d be a little better...
Read morePoor for service. We did the drive through. The radio wasn’t working well. Lady could not understand order after repeating three times. She asked again and my husband raised his voice (the third time). Then she got mad that he yelled. Then she asked to confirm the order to be sure it was right. We told her it was on the screen and correct. She she could not hear. “It’s on your screen and correct” we replied at a higher decibel.
Husband went inside after getting order from really nice boy running register. Spoke with supervisor (1/25/21 at 2:10pm) and he didn’t support the customer. He sided with employee who said my husband yelled at her. He was nasty. He should have said “I’m sorry we didn’t serve you well today. I will talk to my staff member to resolve the issue and do better next time”. Regardless who is right or wrong, that’s how you treat a customer.
Food was fine. Coffee fine. Go elsewhere if you want good treatment.
Update: 2/11/25 We came in side and ordered to go coffee in person. ...
