McDonald's — Restaurant in West Hollywood

I used to not like this McDonald's then they got a makeover. The food is really good just enough salt on the fries and chicken nuggets taste like they should but that's all I ever buy is fries and chicken nuggets I can't say the same for anything else there. The atmosphere would be great because I like the way the inside is designed however there's a lot of homeless there I know that's not their fault but they really should hire security to keep them away from the exits and entrances. I think I have bought a Big Mac there about three times in the last 10 years or so and each time it was good but that was about 9 years ago maybe for some reason when it comes to McDonald's they don't all make their food exactly the same you can tell they're having good days and bad days. But I recommend this McDonald's for someone in this area. If you're still unsure about the fries you can always tell them to serve your fries without salt because you have a blood pressure issue and I'm pretty sure they'll do as you ask because ever since the hot coffee incident the last thing McDonald's wants is another lawsuit. That way you can salt the fries to your liking. I'm not sure why the chicken nuggets sometimes don't taste like chicken nuggets should at least some McDonald's version of chicken nuggets so I have no solution for that other than just take the food back and say this is gross make me another batch. In addition if you're wondering why McDonald's food doesn't taste like it used to in the '80s and early '90s it's because they change from some sort of beef based oil to a vegetable-based oil there's a more specific answer that I can't remember what it is exactly but you can ask Google and it will tell you so it's not just you there is a difference and I don't know why they made that change someone told me it was due to the increase of vegetarians coming to the restaurant and then my question was why are vegetarians coming to this restaurant? No offense to vegetarians I like vegetables too but you don't go to a place that serves hardly any vegetables and expect a vegetarian meal just go somewhere where you expect a vegetarian meal and I'm not sure if that's the exact reason why they made the change somebody else told me it was due to health reasons but here's my question if you're concerned about health why are you going...

Terrible customer service. Absolutely terrible. I picked up dinner at this location (3 recent times) JUST to see if I would get a better experience customer care wise. And no. These are young latino staff members, with rude bad attitudes. Especially the young males. I do not know WHO trains this staff?? I asked to speak to the manager late one night (another Hispanic male…. They seriously need to do better hiring more people from other cultures into this location) the manager was apologetic and did apologize for the rude behavior of his staff. I am a male in my 40s. I expect to be shown basic respect for my age and the fact that I am doing business (giving you my hard earned money NEEDS to be respected). And that respect starts the second we engage in conversation for the transaction. How do you address me? Are you addressing as “Hello SIR welcome, how may I help you?” Or are you saying some mess like “Ya.. boss.. what you ordering?” (And that is exactly how rude these latino customer reps were at this McDonalds location. I am very turned off by the poor low level of professionalism by this staff. They seriously need to hire more diversity on this staff, and absolutely train their employees better, to address both men (as SIR) and women (as MA’AM). It’s a standard of respect and being professional. These kids working there could be my children. And they have the audacity to refer to me as “boss” “buddy” or “bratha’”. It’s very disrespectful to me. The correct and respectful way to approach each customer is SIR or MA’AM. Not “ya, what u wanna order?” The management seriously needs to train these young people better. Or you guys will continue to...

Where to honestly begin with this location, here’s a location that not only makes up their own rules and I mean their own rules, but talk to you how ever they seem fit, close and open the lobby to whom they want etc They casual have you sitting at the mic without saying welcome, hello or anything for that matter... when you say ahh hello is anyone there finally after so much time has passed they speak with attitude problems.

1 I came to grab dinner, I did a mobile order just to afford any unwanted problems with the employees, waited in the parking spot while I ordered prior of ordering I had tech issues with my McDonald’s app, long story short some employee came out saying oh you can’t be here unless you’re ordering literally going in on me as if I was nothing or doing something terrible, in front of my children nevertheless. She never came up with a smile/happy and asked why I was there what I was doing or anything along a civil line, she was just a negative Nancy. I later spoke to the manager and he’s just as tacky but with a smile. Aside from the many problems here food, and employees, the rest rooms are a complete and utter disaster, I understand now when someone ask to use the rest room they say their closed. I guess this location the employees think they don’t have to also clean the restrooms so they keep them closed.

PS: can we plz have some multicultural backgrounds in a place to where you’re supposed to have a smile and everyone...
