I ordered online and walked in to pick it up. The guy was extremely cheerful and nice. I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was very impressed. I got a combination of teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and Kalua pig. I'm pretty sure there was over a pound and a half of meat. It was all placed on top of raw cabbage, which sort of soaked up some of the drippings from the meat and became very delicious. It was served with plain white rice and a salad, which was good. I got teriyaki and spicy mayo sauces. The spicy mayo was particularly good (on everything). I just barely finished it, and I'm writing this review in a bit of a bother since I can barely breathe. I'd definitely go here again. The teriyaki beef was my least favorite item, but it was still good. The chicken was perfect, and the pork was smokey and juicy. There is a great amount of food for the price, and I would plan on leftovers. I wish I had. Overall, quite a unique and delicious place!

the food was great but my experience ruined it for me.... i ordered this on doordash and had the katsu chicken. when i opened my food and grabbed my katsu sauce i realized that the cup was basically empty... only enought sauce to scrape the bottom of the cup with one piece of katsu. i called the location to try and let them know so they can make sure they're giving sauce to their customer and the girl who initially answered apologized and offered to let her co-workers know. i was 100% satisfied with that interaction. but she asked if i would like to speak to the manager and i said why not. he answers and says what seams to be the problem. i let him know and he just starts making excuses... like i didn't want anything from him but the fact that he couldn't even pretend to care really rubbed me the wrong way. i only called trying to give you feedback on your performance and you DGAF. the girl who answered the phone would make a better manager in my opinion. i'll be placing a complaint with corporate about this manager... the food was amazing though and i will continue to support mo bettahs.

Update: Yesterday I was craving something but not quite sure what it was, so we settled on Mo Bettahs (it’s been a while, I’ve been protesting going back after last of many disappointments) I will admit, it HIT the spot. My wife ordered the Big Boy with a Teri steak and I did a mixture of Katsu and steak. Much better on taste, portions of steak seem smaller with that 1.99 extra charge per serving (x4 for our two plates) but it was delicious and worth giving them another go. Came early knowing food would be fresh. Was waiting for our Mo Bettahs teri beef cheat meal. (Big Boy Plate) We get home and took a bite and steak is fridge cold tasting. Thinking it’s because it was on the Mac salad so take another bite and cold. I ended up having to warm up my plate. Disappointed in their normally quality food to tasting like I’m getting last nights batch that wasn’t quite heated up yet.

I've eaten at Mo Bettahs multiple times. This was the first time at this specific location. It's not super close to my house, but I had stopped in from a long drive home to grab take out. The line was a bit long but they seemed to move by fairly quick comparatively. When it was my turn, I asked for teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken. I was told that they didn't have steak at the moment. I asked how long it would be and they said about 5 minutes. I wanted to wait for it. So I stepped aside the line to wait. When they called my name saying they had my food ready, they bagged it up and I went on my way. Disappointment hit when I got home and had no chicken in my meal. It wasn't close enough to justify going back especially after I had been traveling all day. What I did get to eat was good. Especially that mac salad. Man it's tasty.

My husband and I would find ourselves here at least once every two weeks. Our kids love it, so that’s a total plus! But these past few months we haven’t had such great experiences. Customer service, being a huge thing. We always make an order and pick up. No one really helps you when you’re standing at the pick up line. They just look at you and continue to goof off by the grill... I need to make a habit of checking our plates before leaving because what we brought home was not right. No kind of burnt/cold chicken should ever be served to a paying customer. Ever. 3 stars because our katsu chicken was perfect AND they gave us a lot. It’s just a lot of inconsistencies that could be managed with better customer service. Honestly, this is a good depiction of our experiences lately.

Oh my goodness! SO much food!!! 🤪🫶🙌🏻 hubby and I stopped here on our way to the Salt Lake City airport because we wanted to grab lunch first. Found them on Google reviews and so wanted to check them out. Definitely Hoppin, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We didn’t understand what a 'regular' plate meant and it is so much food. We could’ve easily shared one. When the lady asked me if I wanted a mini or a regular size, I didn’t know what that meant. 🤭😂👍🏻 I do now. The flavors are absolutely amazing. We both had teriyaki chicken, he got the Kahlúa pork and I got the Katsu chicken. All of it was extremely tasty and the macaroni salad is fantastic. Highly recommend stopping in here if you’re in town. Wish we had one of these up in the Portland, Oregon area .
