HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COFFEE TO MATCH!! Today I was at the West Valley, UT store on 5600 w., the drive thru was busier than usual so I parked and ordered my drink using the app. This was the second time I used the app and the first was a bad experience as well. I ordered at 8:37 and walked in right after, the app told me it would be ready in 5-8 mins. I sat at the high top right by the holding rack watched as the lady called out everyones name as their order was completed. Finally at 9:05 I asked if she had my order there she look and told me know and asked if I was sure I order at their store and I told her yes and showed her my order. She then found my drink, which was flat and had to appear on the holding rack with in the last 5 mins because I had just checked it due to my first experience, 5 mins before I spoke with her. Because I was already now late for work since I had been there 30 mins I took my drink and left. On my way to work I tasted my drink and about vomited because the taste was HORRIBLE. I called and the lady I spoke with just made the experience that much worse. When I told my frustration that my name or drink order was never called out just like the first time I ordered this way and about the drink quality her response was well never count on the time of the app because we are the busiest store around. She never listened to what I was saying or empathized with the situation so I repeated myself about not knowing if they just can't say my name but they never even called out my order, if that would have happened I would have had time to have the drink fixed. She told me that I don't have to keep repeating myself which now took me to another level of frustration and she continued with she is trying to give me a free drink. WHAT a free drink? I paid for this and it is policy that if the drink is not made correctly that SB replaces it so she isn't doing me a favor. What I spend with you guys is enough to have another part time job and I am told you are doing me a favor and giving me a free drink. Replacing the drink at a later date since now I can't come back and get it replaced because I am late for work because it took you over 25 mins to make a drink I that I was quoted 5-8 mins is not doing me a favor that is good customer service and pride in the quality of drinks/food us customers PAY for, you aren't giving me anything for free. I was so mad at that moment I just hung up with her because why would I ever go back to this store, this store that I visit just about everyday Mon- Fri but realize that if you use the drive thru you get good drinks and food, customer service is good only because you drive up and drive on. Going in to your store is a completely different story and god don't use the app!!! NEVER USE THE APP. I will use up the remaining money I have on my app and then move Beans and Brew. Walk in and there is long line, one employee at the register two other employees standing to the side gossiping and talking not seeming to do much of anything. The employee at the register was the ONLY person working. The lobby looked disheveled, and chaotic. Another employee walked out of the back with a Starbucks bag, and sat it by some drinks already made up for her. The employee at the register was taking orders and and heating sandwiches while the other employee walked around and grabbed a thing here and there out of the coolers in the lobby, and put them in her bag, not offering to help or get the line down. The whole time the other two employees were gabbing and talking to each other. After ordering, I moved down then waited. I watched the other two employees start to make drink orders but were still talking and laughing so they were doing their job, but gingerly and slow making sure they had time to gab. I then witnessed a man walk from around the back corner wheeling a garbage up behind me, then said “excuse me” and I moved over so he could wheel it past me -Gross! Then sat and watched the other two employees take their sweet time getting drinks done. As I waited the man with the garbage walked back in, he pushed it up the walkway in the lobby and a gentleman customer had to “scoot in” to let him pass by with the wheeled garbage but it swiped the gentleman the entire time. They did not read my order and made it all wrong. When I asked them if it was made wrong, they admitted it was, dumped it out, didn't rinse my cup, and redid it wrong again, and I could still taste the original wrong drink. When I walked in, I guess the manager in charge welcomed me and said we will be with you in just a minute. One girl was standing over by the ovens, and 2 girls were standing around the register, only one girl was working the window and another making the drinks. After another couple came in he welcomed them as well and said that they were having issues with the register should only be 5-10 mins. They left after waiting another 10. I was getting ready to walk out when one of the girls that was working on fixing the register asked me how I was paying. I let her know I was paying with cash. She took my order and put it through the drive thru register. The manager then took the gentleman's order that had walked in after me. The manager made his drink, gave it to him. Then they all walked in the back and disappeared except one by the register. I told her I never got my drink. She went and told the girl that was making the drinks that I never got mine. I ordered a Mocha Frappucino, no whipped cream and 2 shots of espresso. That is also what I paid for, because that is the drink I order all the time so I know what 2 shots taste like. She grabbed the whipped cream and started to put it on my drink, I said I didn't want whipped cream, she acted all put out. I also asked her if she put two shots in my drink as I did not see her get them at all. She said I did all snotty. I tasted it as I walked out and she didn't.
