The first thing we heard when walking in to the restaurant was that the front counter clerk did not have her phone. That may be the reason she was uninterested in getting our order correct. My wife and I ordered simple meals, a taco salad with a drink and the Steak Finger Basket with a Banana Split Blizzard as her drink. We took our seats and eagerly awaited our meals. The first disappointment was that the Blizzard came out runny, not well mixed and almost fell out of the cup when the server brought it to our table. No sooner was it brought to us, I was taking it back to the counter to have it remade to the standard that DQ is known for in Texas. Knowing that would take a few minutes, I returned to our table. In short order our food came out and the Steak Finger Basket did not have the usual gravy accompanying the meal. Back to the counter and I requested a cup of gravy for my wife's enjoyment, but was told by the staff that they were out of the condiment. Ok, this was not the end of the world, but she likes the gravy, not ranch sauce that would cause allergic reactions. Back to our table with the news and a disappointed wife. Finally able to enjoy my salad, she noticed that her Blizzard has not come out from the counter. This time she goes to the counter to enquire about the mixed treat. This was her final trouble. The biggest craving she has had since deciding on this restaurant was DENIED to her because the service team did not know who had ordered the replacement. There by, after it was blended, it was placed in the freezer and never brought to the table. She requested a refund and left the location in a foul mood. This location scammed me out of $50. I placed an order on the app for Curbside Pick Up. Received the notifications that the restaurant confirmed the order and arrived at the pick up time. I checked in and the app said someone would bring my food out. 10 minutes later, nothing. I tried calling the restaurant and it went to voicemail. No one was in the drive thru, so I went to the intercom. I had my three children, two toddlers and a special needs teenager in the vehicle with me. Getting out was not an option. The man on the intercom was interrupted by a very rude woman named Jessica who claimed to be the GM. She said they don’t do Curbside. I offered to show my phone at the window. I pulled up, a man told her that the order came thru, but she ignored him and myself. I explained that I couldn’t come into the building because my family was in the car. She told me to leave my kids in the car alone while I ran inside. I asked why she couldn’t give me the food through the window???? It was already paid for!
She refused. I asked for a refund. She refused. I said I needed the food, or my $50 back! She called the police!!!! I did not curse at this horrid woman or threaten violence. I agreed and expected her to repeat my order to me. She didn’t so I said that’s it. A few seconds passed then she asked if that was all. I said yes and she repeated the order but didn’t say anything about the tomatoes or ketchup. So I reminded her. Again I waited for a response and got nothing. Then she told me to pull up and she would have my total at the window. Got to the window and she read my order AGAIN didn’t say anything about the tomatoes or ketchup I reminded her AGAIN and she told me (not ask but told) me that they can put it on the side. I said okay. Gave me my food and told me have a nice day. I pulled up to check my food and realized I didn’t have my card. Went in to get it and everyone just stared like I shouldn’t be there. Took FOREVER to get back when I hadn’t even left yet. They weren’t busy inside or out so I don’t know why it took so long. Got back to my car down the road and realized my dude STILL had tomatoes after being reminded three times!
