I ordered take out at Tony's on a Sunday evening which was perfect timing as there was no one eating in and I didn't have to wait long. I got the 2 slice deal where you choose either a drink or garlic knots. I chose the garlic knots along with my Margarita and Mediterranean pizza slices. The Margarita was delicious and the Mediterranean pizza was large and filling. Like absolutely stacked with ingredients which were good. My only critiques are that the garlic knots were not that well seasoned and they were warm on the outside but room temp on the inside, and this was even with them wrapped in foil and eating them shortly after ordering. There was also parmesan sprinkled on the Margarita (the packet kind) and I genuinely can't remember if I saw it on the display prior to ordering but I'd rather not have it on my pizza. Also the Mediterranean is a sauce-less pizza which isn't mentioned on the description and I had regular black olives on my slice rather than kalamata olives, however, it was still good and I enjoyed my slice. Overall, I desperately miss the Tony's that used to be inside the Whitwood Mall waaay back in the day. I still think of their single slice of new york-style cheese pizza which had either fresh oregano or marjoram sprinkled on it. Simple but fantastic. Anyways, I'd like to try Tony's again and perhaps place an order instead of buying by the slice.

Tony's Pizza is a great little hole in the wall. Friendly hard-working staff. Great selection of pizzas you can buy by the slice or whole. I even made an extra large pizza out of one of each slice of about three-quarters of what they offer. It was $30 but worth it because it was like a delicious sampler platter of what they offered. I also ordered two slices the second time I came which comes with your choice of either soda or salad. They also have good Stromboli and calzones. They have a good variety of Italian style food. I haven't tried it all but I will surely come back again to try the rest of it from time to time. My only complaint is that sometimes the tables stay dirty after people have eaten. But after I told them of the dirtiness of the tables someone came out immediately and cleaned them up. I also like the old style pictures on the walls and the fact that it is a pretty cozy place to eat.

Tony’s has been my favorite pizza place since I was a kid but they’re going downhill, crust so this it’s falling apart and it’s just soggy and not the pizza I used to be, it’s sad someplace so great now won’t even spare $.50 worth of dough to make a good pizza. This is like the 4th time in a row it’s been like this. I did try it again today 9/1/24 same thing just as soggy as last time, way over sauced to the edge of the crust on half. Teach the new pizza makers the way it had been done because even after you re opened it Tonys was amazing it’s sad this place is going downhill

I always place Tony's Pizza as #1 for Authentic Stlye 🍕! I've even sent New Yorkers here, and they were impressed 👌

If you are just a beer drinker or crushed pepper and hot sauce type, this Pizza Masterpiece will be lost on you. Although they don't serve Tony's original Sicilian Thick Square slices anymore, like in the Mall Days. They have much more variety of slices and Thick Stuffed Slices instead. Or you can opt for the original thin NY Style Slices. And you Artsi Fartsi Artisan types, will love the Spinach and Margarita Pizza Slices and other offerings. But you can't go wrong with the Garlic Knotts, Spaghetti and Meatballs and a Large Pizza! Hopefully they go back to Coca Cola and cut out the Regatone Music!

But with Pizzamania and Stuft Pizza 🙏 🪦 RIP to both of them, and Pizza 21 or Uptown Pizza Co as my 4th and 5th options for Pizza in Whittier. Tony's is real Italian and the others are just thick crust American Style for 🍺 drinking. Joe Peeps isn't bad, more pricey than Tony's on the Pizza.

But Maistro Don Nicco and the gang there, Bada Bing it out of the Park, when they are on their A Game! For taste and quality, they can't be beat! If you just like Crushed Peppers, Beer and Hot Sauce 🔥 🥵 then Little Cesar's is for you. Because you won't know or taste the difference anyway?

But if you can appreciate taste and authenticity, Tony's is your place! Even some of you trendy Panera Fans will be set straight and surprised! Viva Tony's! Gratzi Don Nicco for keeping it going 💯 👌 Chow...

11:20am 7-12-17 I just worked my butt off a hard day's work and went to dine out here for a meal only to find out after 20+ minutes after opening resturaunt hour time it is Still NOT open. The food is great otherwise, but this is downright unacceptable. Walked out after waiting even more minutes of my precious time with still no one to open up and do their job. Unreliable service, thinking twice about coming here again or ever as should readers of this upfront review. Great pizza, but with service like this it's a 50/50. I can go to eighty other joints that provide both great food AND great service. Why settle here on a flake of an establishment where I can get top notch quality guaranteed? Step it up, Tony's. America is hungry and it's not gonna wait for you to drop the ball and pick it up to only drop it once more. It will however take it's money and services elsewhere to places that can provide and come through on it's job that by doing so, ACTUALLY deserves the recognition and pay it's owed. Thanks...
