I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cattle 'n Clover, and I must say that it's a hidden gem among the bustling bar scene. This establishment truly stands out for its reasonable prices, making it an oasis for those looking for an affordable night out without compromising on quality.
One of the first things that struck me about Cattle 'n Clover was the absence of exorbitant prices. It's refreshing to find a bar that doesn't gouge its customers, where you can enjoy a night of fun without feeling like you're breaking the bank. The owners have created an environment where patrons can relax and unwind without constantly worrying about their wallets, and for that, they deserve accolades.
The staff at Cattle 'n Clover are exceptional, displaying a level of kindness and attentiveness that truly enhances the overall experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and prompt service. The bartenders were not only skilled mixologists but also genuinely friendly, taking the time to chat and make sure that every customer felt valued. Their attentiveness was evident, as they seamlessly navigated the busy bar, ensuring that no glass remained empty for long.
Now, let's talk about the cocktails and food—two aspects where Cattle 'n Clover truly excels. The drink menu is a delightful blend of classic favorites and inventive creations. Whether you're a fan of robust, spirit-forward concoctions or prefer something fruity and refreshing, you'll find a cocktail to suit your taste. Each drink is carefully crafted with premium ingredients, resulting in a symphony of flavors that will tantalize your palate.
When it comes to the food, Cattle 'n Clover's menu offers a diverse selection of delicious bites to complement your drinks. From savory appetizers to mouthwatering entrees, there's something for everyone. The kitchen staff clearly takes pride in their creations, as every dish I sampled was prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors were bold, and the presentation was visually appealing, leaving me satisfied and craving more.
Overall, Cattle 'n Clover is a bar that effortlessly combines reasonable prices with exceptional service and mouthwatering offerings. It's a refreshing departure from the trend of price gouging that plagues many establishments. Read moreJust waited an hour for our meal. Meatloaf was grey and dry. My husband’s $44 filet was dry and over cooked and over salted! When I complained that we waited an hour for dried out meatloaf to be told by the owner Mr John Sheppard stated didn’t wait an hour I waited 41 minutes…excuse me I was mistaken! 41 minutes not an hour from the time we ordered however it was an hour from the time we sat. Mr Shepard you should be ashamed of yourself for not fixing the situation and blaming me for your horrible food! You had the opportunity to not be defensive and understand the expectations of when someone spends money and expect a decent meal! UPDATE! Since I can’t reply to your message I will update mine! I am an easy going person and love local places and actually selected your restaurant saying I wanted to go off the grid place vs Rio Grande restaurants. No matter what the opinion of the bartender or hostess stated about me…they treated us with the utmost respect . The food was horrible and even if you said what can I do to fix this I would have respected you for the effort and respected you enough not to write this review. Instead you were rude and now call me a Karen..Just shows a continuation of how you treated me at the restaurant! I never write bad reviews. Anyone can click on my profile and see that I don’t so in that case my option will matter. And now they can see the rudeness that I experienced from you. Also the your current menu for filet is $12 more on the menu than your website so not only was it dry and salty you pay more for it! And yes I did share that with the bartender and you should fix your prices of your website, I think that is a reasonable request. We waited over 40 minutes and you weren’t even busy I did get hangry asking where our meal was after 30 minutes of waiting but never did I expect the food we received. I am sorry if I expected a meatloaf to resemble meatloaf and a $44 filet to by cooked well and served with a smile 😊 At the end of the day you will be fine you have enough good reviews and perhaps you don’t need to be concerned for a party of 3 that just wanted a good meal and service and are in shock of an owner to be disrespectful after you could clearly see the food was not cooked right and had an opportunity to be polite and see what you could have done to rectify...
Read moreWent to grab a burger and fries for my daughter. Took 40min from the time I ordered (10:21 pm) to get my food. In the meantime, I had to ask the bartenders a couple times when the food would be out. One instance, i was told seven min. That came and went. There was even a gentleman there that told them I had been waiting a while.
It wasn't until i told the bartenders i no longer wished to wait and that i just wanted a refund that they went back and waited for the food. That took 5-6 min. When the food finally came out, the burger was luke warm at best and the fries were the same. There were no more than 15 fries with the burger and the meal was damn near $16, which i would have been ok with had the food been "fresh". The bartender was apologetic, stating that it was busy. In my mind, I would think my food would be piping hot because "it was busy" and I had to wait for other orders to be fulfilled before mine. That was not the case.
I asked for the manager (that took roughly another 5min). Told him what happened and he asked if I wanted to reorder, which I said absolutely not and that I just wanted a refund. He took the food and told me to "tell them you want a refund" and walked away.... no apology at all. As a result of staying so long, all other establishments had already closed their kitchens. Ended up at Wawa.
Gave 2 stars because the bartenders were really nice. I just wish they would have communicated how busy the kitchen was prior to having me order. I would...
