We were coming here for some food and some drinks for my sisters bachelorette there was 12 of us . We were there for maybe two seconds and the one bouncer who wasn’t even the one getting IDs got up from his seat, took my mom aside and said sorry she can’t come in … number one we’re all adults 😂 you don’t have to pull my mom aside to say something like we’re all 10 years old .. and was just a jerk about things .This was one of our first stops of the night so no , she wasn’t drunk and the two iDs that they did look at they acted like they were fake or something, I am 33 I have no reason to have a fake ID. Finally had the opportunity to visit The Point in Wildwood, NJ and what a surprise. The vibe is great, drinks cold, refreshing with a unique spin and the food was fabulous. We really had no expectations going in, just thought it offered the sea side vibe we were looking for and we were just blown away. My husband's already planning to go back next weekend and knows what he’s ordering. Their menu offers an abundance of light fare, salads and sandwiches that makes the perfect accompaniment to cocktails. In addition our waitress was personable, helpful and couldn't do enough to make our visit a wonderful experience. Went just after it transitioned to a 21+ crowd. There wasn't much going on besides just people hanging and talking. $5 cover fee just to enter. Not really much entertainment going on for a Friday night. Drinks were very overpriced compared to bars in the area. Not really worth the hype for the drinks or atmosphere.
