McDonald's — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

This McDonald’s is terrible….lets just start by saying our initial order was completely wrong , thereafter my spouse had called and explained to McDonald’s (figured out after the wrong location in WB) they stated to come back and they would replace it, we live fairly out of the way so stated we would return the next day. As we returned the next day with our original receipt to location we purchased from we were greeted by “head manager, Danielle” whom should be demoted as she demonstrates poor service and customer satisfaction. We brought the original receipt and attempted to explain the situation multiple times while she blantly called my spouse a liar (everything was videoed from start to finish with the interaction) at that point I said well I will call you a liar and she said, “I’m done, I am calling 911” no one used profanity, no yelling just attempted to get to the bottom of it….the only one who was trying to assist with the situation as we had the other McDonald’s we called on the phone to show the validation of the events was a worker named JT whom remained professional and attempted to find a solution but it was beyond his control due to Danielle never having power in her life aside from being a “head manager” at McDonald’s, the police arrived and she asked for us to be trespassed all because she did not know how to investigate and assist customers. I will ensure Pat the owner of the branch is made aware and shown the video as well as a complaint will be filed to corporate and their area franchise management. She escalated a situation rather than listen to a customer who spent well over $30 that went in the garbage. Very unprofessional and shows the type of establishment they have. I feel sorry for the workers having to work under her watch and she needs to definitely be put back at the fryer because management is not her expertise and she may meet the right customer to actually call the police on and give them real crime to deal with. It’s a shame you can’t even come up with a solution with a customer because you’re too lazy to do your job. I’ve never had an issue at this location and highly respect fast food workers but this thing is not it and she definitely will reap what she sows. Where I even begin. So my entire order was completely wrong (how hard is it to follow a monitor I use to work at a fast food place when I was younger it’s not that’s hard) second we go back to McDonald’s and tell they got the order the wrong as my husband is trying to explain what he order the girl at the window told him to watch him tone and started giving him attitude (I of course said watch your mouth you anit talking to my man like that & ask to speak to her manager!! She got her manager and she even has an attitude. You got our order wrong what’s with the attitude. Last but not least when we went the first time instead of focusing on our order and we were the only car in the drive thru they were inside joking and laughing the window girl had her back to the window not even paying attention. We go here everyday sometime 2-3 times a day and from this day forward we will no longer be spending our money at this establishment. It is disgusting how the employees think they do what ever they want while they are handling customers food. This place should've stayed burnt down… horrible. And hiring managers and store managers shame on your for not training...

This place was a joke when I visited. It was Sunday in the early evening. There was nobody in line besides me. The girl behind the counter looked annoyed that she had to stop talking and wait on me. I only ordered a burger meal, a parfait, a strawberry milkshake, and a glass of water. The shake was done fast, then I had to wait at least 15-20 mins for the rest of my food. At one point an employee looked at me, pointed at me and with an annoyed tone asked "What's this guy waiting for?" When I finally received my food my glass of water was missing. An employee yelled for someone in the food prep area to make it. They didn't do it and after 5 minutes or so she just handed me a bottle of water. Fries were hot. Burger was alright. Service was really a joke. This used to be a decent McDonalds (and I really don't expect much from a restaurant such as this) but it's gone way down hill. I will not be...
