One of the worst interactions I’ve ever had in a fast food establishment. We sat at the drive thru window for a fair amount of time with no acknowledgment or order. I went ahead and pulled through and decided to go inside to speed things up. We’d been traveling and decided to utilize the online menu for the Williams location and had our order figured out. We tried ordering what was available on the menu only to be told those items were not available and if we’d like them we’d have to step out and place an order to pick up later. I asked if we could just order the items on the deal and they just charge be regular price so we could get moving. I was told no we can not do that, I repeated again we’d pay regular menu prices but they clearly were not understanding of this. At this time the store manager was out from trying to handle another disgruntled customer and he stepped in and was also not taking the opportunity to listen to my order and what I was asking for. I explained we’d been driving and we’re looking to order the meal deal offered in the menu which he replied was not available at hi location. I explained we’d waited 10 + minutes I drive thru and now we’re 35 minutes in to trying to order and I just wanted to get the boys food and move on. He then replied did you order online? I replied NO! I’m here, inside trying to order food for my family. I explained what I wanted and was again asked did my wife possibly order online? At this point I was done and was asking both the cashier and manager if this was for real and proceeded to leave without ordering. In all fairness cashier was friendly and really trying to figure things out! Manager was either having an off day or just doesn’t listen well! All in all horrible interaction. I walked outside to let the boys no this was not happening but they convinced me to go back in and get them food. We all went back in, I ordered them a $20 meal special to share, again cashier was very nice. Order was taken, they asked for original recipe and biscuits. When we got the meal we got neither of those. When we approached we were told by another gentleman they didn’t have that stuff and that’s why we got what we...
Read moreWe came to this KFC in Williams AZ, to pick up some dinner before going to our air B&B. When we pulled through the drive through to order, we were asked by the lady on the intercom to come inside because the register at the drive through wasn’t open. It was inconvenient because of our 2 dogs being with us so my husband had to sit inside the truck while I went in and ordered.
When I walked in, there was a long line to wait, but I persevered so that we could get our dinner. I watched & listened to the lady taking the orders and every time someone ordered something, most of them tenders and burritos, chicken sandwiches, she would go and speak to someone around the corner and I heard her tell the group in front of me that it would be a 10 minute wait for their tenders. I saw her counting chicken tenders as if they were afraid they wouldn’t have enough for the people that were in front of me ordering them. It was odd.
When I finally got there, I tried to order a 12 piece meal and she asked me if I wanted it extra crispy or original and I said extra crispy, then she came back and told me that they only had original so I said, okay I’d take that, then she went and checked again, and then told me that they weren’t taking any more orders! After I stood there waiting a good 20 mins or so. And they turned me away!!! I have never seen a food business do that before!!
There wasn’t that many people in there to turn away business, it was only 4:15pm and I think that they only wanted to do short order type stuff like tenders and burritos.
This is HORRIBLE business practice and it didn’t seem like whoever was the manager knew how to run a fast food restaurant.
If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Terrible place! We ended up going to subway at the Loves down the road where the food was decent and the two girls there were efficient...
Read moreToday I ordered online and then got in the drive up window. They told me to come inside to pick up my order. So I did. I ordered an eight piece chicken special for $10. Four sauces for about a dollar. And a pot pie. I love their pot pies! however they said they were out of pot pies. Since I had already ordered it online and paid for it she said I would have to go ask for a refund online. I didn’t want to do that so I asked her could you just give it to me cold figuring that she had them in the refrigerator already made up. I’ve gotten them before like that and I don’t mind because I have an RV and I can cook them in the stove. In fact I freeze them first and then when I want one I can cook it. So I thought she would just bring it out to me and I’d be on my way. However I said I really want a pot pie could you just give it to me cold and she says OK I’ll make it up. I had no idea they make the chicken pot pie by hand right there at the facility. Otherwise I would’ve taken something else. It was a short 20 minute wait when I looked back there she was actually making it from scratch. Wow that was fantastic. I got my order that she handmade and said I was sorry I didn’t know it was gonna take that much time. Since it was around noon and there was a lot of people there. I can’t thank her enough for doing that! Because I do love my pot pies! It made me kind of sad as I stood there and watched a long line of people ordering things with only three employees. Is it that hard to find people to work nowadays! It was sad that the pressure was put on them and I didn’t help that situation out at all! Please owner of this KFC hire more employees! Or raise the wages of these poor souls to a much...
