I’ve stayed at Hilton properties all over the country and am a repeating diamond member. This is by far the nicest and friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. My wife and I were traveling all over Arizona and Nevada for a week. We booked this hotel based on its location and close proximity to the Grand Canyon. Check in was fantastic and the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. When we woke up, there was about a foot of snow on the ground with more coming down by the minute. The staff tried to warn us to stay, but we decided to try and make it to the Grand Canyon. Even with 4x4, 15 minutes later, we were back at the front desk. They happily set us up with another nights stay…. In the next 24 hours, Williams was hit with 3 feet of snow. The ENTIRE staff was so kind, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about everything to do in Williams. I-40 was completely shut down. They had people pouring into the hotel and they were doing everything they could to help everyone. They kept the parking lot, sidewalks, and hotel clear. They were helping people shovel their cars out. Pushing cars out of the streets…. It was unbelievable. The gentlemen running the breakfast was great! All of the food was delicious and they kept the space very clean. The indoor pool was actually WARM!! It felt amazing! Not cold like most “heated” pools. I was able to speak with Matthew, the GM, on our way out the next day. We had a great conversation while we shoveled a few cars out of the snow. He made my day. What a great place to stay. They were constantly watching the road updates and giving us directions on how we could get out of Williams to make it to Phoenix for the Waste Management Open that day. The town of Williams is an absolute gem. I can’t wait to go back just to stay here in Williams…. Next time, I think we’re going to stay here two nights on purpose. To Matthew and the entire team in Williams, please keep up the good work. You guys are truly making a difference in...

My comment: I had a terrible experience with this hotel, and I strongly advise you to avoid it at all costs. I booked a stay at this place through Expedia from 03/29/24 to 04/01/24. Due to a family emergency (the passing away of a relative), I ended up arriving at the hotel on the morning of 03/30. I had called them in advance to inform them that I would be checking in late. However, upon my arrival, I discovered that my reservation had been cancelled, despite having paid the full amount ($601.75) back in February. When I inquired about why my reservation was cancelled without any notification, they failed to provide a satisfactory answer. I requested to speak to their manager, but was informed that the manager was out of town for a week and was advised to find accommodation elsewhere. This occurred in the middle of a winter storm with two kids (ages 4 and 9), leaving me with no choice but to pay an additional $200 for a one-night stay. I am now seeking a refund, but they are refusing to cooperate. All I can say is to steer clear of this place at all costs!
Owner’s Response: Unfortunately, when you make your reservation through a third-party website I am unable to provide you with any compensation as the third party company owns that reservation and any discounts or refunds must be requested through them. Thanks for your understanding!
Expedia’ Response: Unfortunately, after speaking with Hampton Inn Williams, they're holding to the original cancellation policy for your booking and declined your...
Read moreWe are on the 3rd night of our Grand Canyon vacation staying at Hampton Inn Williams. We messaged the front desk that we would be getting in late and they responded to that request quickly and had our rooms ready.
The rooms have modern furnishings, large tvs with all the local channels and several apps where you can watch free movies. The rooms we reserved and are currently in, 231 and 232, both have a stand up shower and plenty of space on the bath vanity. The PTAC air conditioner blows cool with no grinding and the thermostat is large and an updated brand.
The breakfast is from 6 - 10 with hot oatmeal, different types of eggs, fresh fruit, cereal and the standard Hampton fare. Breakfast attendant is attentive and friendly.
The coffee bar is constantly stocks with dark roast, decaf, and assorted teas with hot water available.
The hotel is 2 minutes from the interstate with zero interstate noise. 2 minutes from the grand canyon railway (literally one turn), 3 minutes from Williams nightlife and Route 66 happenings. If you're into fast food, you could walk to McDonald's or KFC/Taco bell. Plenty of free parking.
Finally, the heated pool is spectacular with towels and updated pool furniture available. The hot tub is HOT, which is nice after a long day on the Canyon.
We look forward to our final night here and cannot recommend this hotel more. We got away from Hilton prior to the pandemic but this hotel will bring me closer to coming back to Hilton full...
