My daughter and me, stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel in 950 North Grand Canyon Blvd. Williams AZ 86046 on June 16-2021. I am shocked by the condition of the rooms. I never thought I would end up having to switch rooms, because when I finally sat down after 6 hours of driving, the chair I sat on to relax, had BOTH armrests ripped, and not only that, but it smelled like dirty armpit. I have stayed in worse places and I am a very relaxed person, but I can't stand when a big corporation uses their name as a facade showing how beautiful their hotel is, only to discover that the motel in the corner would have done probably as well. I would like to send pictures to whoever is in charge of this place. Where is the money going if not to maintenance, cleaning and upgrades? I felt terrible for the poor personnel that has to work there, I can imagine how challenging it must be, having to listen to complains every day. Awful! The lady at the front desk changed us to a "suite". I was excited, but as soon as I got in, I saw stains on the carpet, a sofa that has been used as a towel for years, the large bath-tub surrounded by black mold, dirt under the beds, and I was so disgusted I had to check for bed bugs. Just to make sure we undid both beds. No bed-bugs but yellow stains on the mattress covers, black lint under the sheets... omg, what a terrible experience, you think you would go rest and instead you have to work to feel safe at the hotel. UNACCEPTABLE conditions. Sorry Wyndham. I would like to get a full REFUND for my $125.61 Room 1: Confirmation number: 403064982
Addendum June 30/2021 . I added one more star, because speaking to Jerry, the hotel's operations manager, she explained that the hotel had been sold, they were in transition, but they were planning on fully upgrading the place. Because of coronavirus everything is pretty much stopped, even though they have been booked solid... they approved my request for a full refund. Very much appreciated. I wish them well and I hope to come back to a fully renovated...
Read moreThe hotel is old, dirty and outdated. They definitely have not upgraded the rooms or hotel. The beds and bedding are old, hard and uncomfortable!!! The sheets have stains on them and look very old. There was a spider on one bed, now my son is creeped out and uncomfortable. The curtains have stains on them and are also outdated. The walls are dirty, and “beat up” walking in to the room it’s like walking into a cheap 80s motel. The office chair pleather is peeling and falling apart. The entertainment center is “beat up” and old. The carpet is dirty and old. I don’t know when they last vacuumed the edges, there is debris on all edges of carpet. Stains on walk path. Stains on the walls. I still don’t get why hotels have carpet with bed big issues. Type is easy maintenance. This hotel is gross. The bathroom floor has an apparent sink hole, even the tile is loose where the floor is sinking in. The hallways are hot. I’m praying our room cools down. Came back to edit, the Ac was not the greatest, good thing the window cracks open Next time I will book with the new hotel by the Loves gas station across the way. Cheaper price and brand new hotel over there. This place was definitely not worth the price. I can’t even watch television. The channels don’t work. I get a satellite notification about bad signal or complete signal loss on most channels. There’s probably 4 channels to choose from, 3 being news. Who the heck wants to watch cnn and politic propaganda during an election season? Not me! Even those signal cutting and out. I’m so disappointed. This is a real shame. Ruined the weekend for sure. To think consumers can spend their hard earned money for a nice weekend getaway but can’t get refunded when the hotel is crap. You’re better off booking with motel 6 same...
Read moreIt's pretty outdated. In a room with two queen beds there is only one end table with 3 outlets and really you can only plug two bricks in at a time. Otherwise, it's a lamp on the desk with two outlets that are far from both beds. No plugs on the outer walls so no charging a phone or plugging in a laptop. I had to shove the office chair between my side of the bed and the wall so I had somewhere to set my stuff. TV is very small. Bed sags towards the middle and is pretty uncomfortable. Tub/ shower has a constant drip. Mini fridge is out in the open and pretty loud. The carpets are kinda stained. The curtains don't close all the way so the stream of light coming in is pretty glaring. And our room smelled like smoke. They only had one handicap-accessible room, but because the rooms are smaller it only came with a king bed. So that was out for my grandmother, who needs a walk in shower and was sharing a room with my mom where two beds were needed. Toilet paper and tissue were thin and well, paper-like and rough. My husband stays here for work and we decided to make the drive from Los Angeles to visit. Not sure why they put him here as the comfort level is subpar. They do allow dogs, so those rooms have new laminate wood flooring. They have two vending machines, but if you want a snack it's $3 bucks no matter what you want. Don't know how much the sodas were, no price was visibly listed. If you're staying here for the night it's fine and the rooms are clean, but more than a night is rough. Sorry Ramada,...
