It's Just Wings — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

Initially I wanted to eat inside and I love Chilis but wasn’t aware this is just another brand under Chilis. That aside, if the food says it will be ready by a certain time, it should be ready. No one bothered to tell us it would be longer. I checked by phone in my parking spot 3x and waited 22mins past the latest delivery pickup estimate. My wife got out and went inside hoping that would help, but numerous people were waiting and orders placed for food delivery services were being canceled by others due to the wait. When stuff gets messed up, you comp items and add free deserts or drinks and apologize but that didn’t happen. Clearly the system you have in place isn’t working with your current kitchen staff and the to-go cashiers were not doing their job. I will not be back for a pickup order and might not come back to Chilis which has been my literal favorite restaurant for over 10 years. Brand transparency on the website that this is just food coming from a Chili’s kitchen would also help. I am not someone who complains typically but I did call to complain about the wait and finally got a weak I’m sorry but… we are really busy and doing the best we can. I mean use the system to change your food pickup times to later and use a heat lamp if you get them done early. With the number of restaurants doing pick up orders and getting things ready on time everyday, especially after Covid changed peoples expectations of to-go food ordering, I’m just really disappointed and I feel like it could’ve been so...
